Kilvan

REDEMPTIVE JOURNEY:

Kilvan has only known, war, battle, raiding and obedience to political leaders and businessmen seeking a profit from his abilities to get things done and do the violence that they need him to commit. When Kilvan meets Pura he is drawn to her beauty and the mystery of everything about her. He feels compassion for her when he sees her poisoned and he wants to help her. He is also detoxing from his addiction to hut herb that came from the days in Battle School where it was how the warriors were enhanced for battle and controlled by their handlers. When he finds himself with Pura abandoned by his own men and betrayed, yet holding in his hand, the prized possession that he came to recover from the Wolf King, he chooses to just stick with her and see where the journey will lead. As they grow more attracted to each other and begin to help each other more and more, he realizes that she wants to go to the Valley of Alpha Wolf and follows her there. Kilvan has never been part of a civilized family or a relationship and he is fascinated by her and wants to protect her. When they move to Alpha Wolf he knows what he needs to do to make a dwelling and to feed her and to develop a life together. When they find the village that Pura remembers from her childhood it has been destroyed. She knows that she has a brother though and wants to find him. They will continue to explore to try and find him while they settle into their life in the forest. While they are out searching and Paya and Baran are also exploring, they come in contact with each other. Baran and Kilvan both speak the language of Jaune and of the traders. Paya also speaks Jaunish. Pura has learned it bit by bit and continues to learn. They work together, the four of them, to try and find Pura's brother and to deal with the parts of the system of Scarlet as they come in contact with them. Some of these are saving abandoned children, others are discovering the trafficking routes and dealing with the scourge that they encounter.
