Tor Kandix
Tor Kandix was born on Kandix Prime into the slave household of Grand Prince Erdan, where he was raised as a personal attendant to the Master of the Palace (later known as Lord Kandix).

He would officially receive his collar and appointment as personal attendant in 982 after the rise of Lord Kandix. Tor would be one of the very few slaves of Kandix Prime to not receive the cocktail of hallucinogenic and aphrodesiac drugs normally administered by the collar which were used to keep the population subservient. It would later be learned that this was because he was a descendant of Lord Kandix's original owner Princess Sybelle and Tiberius Carruthers, making him the legitimate head of House Carruthers and holding a claim to the Terran Imperial Throne. He was seen by the other Masters of Kandix as an extension of Lord Kandix himself, and would quite often manage affairs while Lord Kandix was attending to business elsewhere on the planet. During the Kandix Revolt of 987, he would go into hiding in the tunnels under the Golden Pyramid, returning after order had been restored. He would become Grand Master of Kandix the next year, the only person to have gone from slave directly to Grand Master. He would similarly adopt the name "Lord Kandix," and give himself the nanotreatment provided by Leon Thomason to the previous Grand Master. As Lord Kandix, he would slowly wean the population off the highly addictive combination of drugs provided by the collars and eventually abolish slavery on Kandix Prime. This would change very little of society on Kandix Prime however, as he replaced slavery with a pseudo-religion that ensured he remained in power as what outsiders would refer to as "the eternal god king of Kandix."
