Coldmist Forest
Coldmist Forest is a vast, mist-filled wooded area at the foot of the Human Cradle Mountains that ranges from Arlint Bay to the very southern edge of the Human Peninsula at the top of the Giant's Steppes. Largely without predators, the forest is still seen as one of the most dangerous places in the world due to the predator that the forest does host.
Localized Phenomena
No matter the temerature, weather, or time of year, the mists are always present and hang heavy among the trees. And even though they may disapate to some degree throughout the day, visibility in the forest is reported to be almost nothing in certain parts. However, despite low visibility people are relatively safe in the forest during the day; it's when the sun goes down and the mist thickens that the forest become dangerous. In the darkness the mist can become corporeal vorwal with claws and fangs kill anything they can get thier hands on.
