Nefeder (nɛf ɛ' dɜːr)
Symbols: Torch/Lantern with a balanced scale for the window or Light Rays coming off of a balanced scale
Physical Form Appearance: Pure albino appearance with white hair and red eyes. Bleach white hair and always appears to have an aura of light around him. Wears a highly polished breastplate that reflects any surrounding light. And when angered, this surrounding light becomes more intense to the point of not being able look directly at him. Anyone that wishes to attack him will find themselves at a progressively worsening chance to hit for every round starting at -3 To Hit, every subsequent round is an additional -1 To Hit, this is due to the increasing brightness of his armor
Personality/Demeanor: Always has a smile. And can keep that smile even in the direst of situations. He will always speak to unvarnished truth and will always be willing to help those in need.
History/Ascension: Cast out of the home village, survived, taught others of revelations, truths, and 'seeing the light'. Demonstrated to Aria the true light of her heart and was given god status.
Divine Powers:
Remove darkness – able to dispel any form of darkness to full daylight
Illuminate mystery – able to show the solution of an unsolved mystery or puzzle
Clear the clouded mind – able to dispel all forms of magical confusion and hypnotism
Imbue light – able to imbue any object with the ability to shed light permanently and for as long as he decides to keep it lit this, however, does not consume the object like 'Continual Light' (P-Lvl 3) spell and is done simply by touch.
Priests:
Duties
Marriage
If both are followers they are given a special candle lantern where they combine two candles into one. It is the responsibility of both to keep it lit. Should it go out, they are required to find a priest who will determine if the extinguishing was by fault or by outside forces. If not the fault of the couple then the priest will relight the candle with blessings. If found to be the fault of the couple they can divorce and never marry back into the church, or they can pray and atone for their misjudgment and mishandling of the Light of Nefeder. Punishment is metered out at the discretion of the priest.

Turning:
Priests of Nefeder are able to turn undead as normal priests but if they are carrying an item blessed by him, then the possessor is able to affect undead as one level higher.
Example: Josef a 5th-level follower of Nefeder is with his friends and they come upon a group of Ghouls. Since Josef has not completed his Quest of Light to receive his blessed items specifically from a Grand High Vicar yet, he must make a roll of 4 or better to turn them. Now if he had completed his Quest of Light and had received his lantern he would be able to automatically Turn them.
Omens:
There is a faction of devout zealots that will only work while the sun is above the horizon
Example: Enlightened Priest Jeofrey a level 8 cleric of Nefeder and his party stumbles into a den of a wraith, he is carrying the actual Lantern of Nefeder. Jeofrey, calls upon the light of Nefeder and the lantern illuminates a sphere of 80’. The wraith is 20’ away (the party failed it’s perception check) this would put the wraith 60’ into the sphere. That would also mean that instantly the wraith will take 6d10 damage and if that does not instantly destroy their foe, Jeofrey will still get a chance to make a roll to turn it. If it does not get turned and attempts to get closer (it’s really angry) by 10’ it would then take 7d10 damage.

Artifacts
Nefeder is portrayed as holding a lantern (he calls it Mijouak) of some exquisite craftsmanship and the light inside the lantern seems to simply emanate from its center. However this lantern has the ability to be as brights as a simple candle light to the full midday sun, to something even brighter, but also has the ability to make all that is unseen, seen. This can be used in any configuration, from a single thin beam to lighting up a full radius of 50’/level in the hands of a priest or paladin, and in the hands of Nefeder it is rumored to be able to light up the entire world. In the presence of this lantern when being used to light up an area, no shadows can exist and anything hidden will be visible, hidden door glow around their frames, anything magically hidden will be completely visible. It does not have the ability to see through solid objects but it will outline an object that is hidden behind a solid wall, object or container up to 20’ thick. Undead cannot come within 10’/level of the holder, and none can come within 300’ of Nefeder holding the lit lantern. Any undead attempting to get closer will suffer the same number of 1d10/HD for every 10’ per turn.
