The Cradle Isle

Like all the islands inside the Uncharted Ocean, the Cradle is a moving island, constantly drifting along currents and waves. The Cradle however is unique, 90% of all the islands inside the Uncharted Ocean shift around the Cradle, almost like planets and moons orbiting the sun.

After the shattering of Rularia three groups of Tal left Rularia for new lands, the ancestors of the Tardoren landed in Erendoc, the ancestors of the Todoshka parted the mists around the Southern Ice Plains and arrived in Udosix, and the ancestors of The Oshar People found homes on the islands of the Uncharted Oceans. The early wayfinders and cartogrophers attempted to plot out their new homes, and whilst each island became easily understood, the location of that island in relation to others prooved to truely be impossible.   The Tal who now claimed home in the Islands were slowly drawn towards the centre of the Uncharted Ocean, and found that near all the islands circled a large landmass, the centre of which containing what the Tal assumed was a Volanco, though upon realising that the landmass also moved they instead called it the Cradle. The Cradle itself was once a Volcano before being impacted by something from above, the Tal hesistant of any divine power after the War Against the Old Gods instead called it the Heart. Settling on the Cradle island as their central location the Tal who came to live there took on a new name, the Oshar, and would be influenced by the magic emminating from the Cradle.   The Oshar grew an extra-sensory ability of navigation, being the only people to understand and track the islands, even if they could not map them. The Oshar would call the Cradle their origin, their start in the world as a new people, slowly evolving combinind Tal magic with the new found abilities and life granted by the Heart.
