Ruˈvi Gyst - Lesser Dragon

Since emerging from the magical nexus in the South Pole, many unique sub-species of Lesser Dragons, have been identified; the sub-species are more commonly referred to as breeds, like dogs.

In the years following the Draconic Resurgence the Life Force of Oxdara became flooded with Draconic Magic; in the rest of the world this resulted in Beastial Dragons, in Udosix, being a nexus for magical energies, this resulted in an entirely new species of Dragon dubbed Ru'vi Gyst. The Ru'vi Gyst, or Lesser Dragon in common, aren't capable of sentient thought, at least not to the degree of mortals or true Dragons, and are more akin to the intelligence and sentience of dogs, cats or other domesticated pets. This led to the Dragons in Udosix to training these new Dragons, and keeping them as their own form of pets, much like they already had been with Drakes, Wyverns, Wyrms and other Minor Dragons.   After seeing the Dragon societies in Udosix training and keeping these Lesser Dragons as pets the mortal cultures and people in Udosix began attempting the same, keeping them for companionship, mounts, even beasts of burden; if there was any real reason, even keeping them as cattle wouldn't be surprising.
