Lord Redgrave

Lord Redgrave (a.k.a. Earl of Bristol)

As the Chairman of the Ascalon Club, Lord Redgrave controls both vampire society within the British Empire, and has great influence over the economy. His territory is unusual in that it doesn't have distinct borders; he calls the entire British Territory his, including Canada and Australia, but there are many different Night Courts that actually control these regions. The Ascalon Club's influence is strongest inside the London Orbital Motorway, but some vampires as far as Oxford and Winchester still consider themselves under the Ascalon Club's rule.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Lord Redgrave's exact age is unknown, but he is known to have met William Marshal before he disappeared in 1666, and was sired by him. He formed the Ascalon club in 1740. Early in that career, he sent some of his club members to the American colonies to manage them, to great success. Lord Hamilton was the acting leader of this party, and formed that Brothers of Ascalon.

Employment

Lord Redgrave is a wealthy aristocrat who engages in the stock market and mingles with trade companies quite a bit, in addition to his duties as Chairman of the Ascalon Club.

Morality & Philosophy

Lord Redgrave is a rather... biased individual, who views women as shifty and inferior, whether mortal or immortal, and vulkod as abominations to be eliminated. He is also flat against sexual reproduction for vampires.

History

Lord Redgrave sent Lord Hamilton to the British colonies to secure them against American vampires, as well as establish a branch of the Ascalon club there before other night courts could get a proper hold.  This was quite successful, until the colonies revolted against Great Britain.
