Røkborg

Røkborg is a small, rugged village nestled on the eastern shore of Svartvatn. Its inhabitants, a hardy and resilient people, have adapted to the harsh conditions of Skogheim. The village is primarily composed of humans, but there is also a significant population of tabaxi and dragonborn, who have found refuge in this relatively tolerant community.   The primary occupations in Røkborg are fishing and hunting, as the surrounding forests and lakes provide a bountiful supply of food. Many of the villagers are skilled hunters and fishermen, passing their knowledge and traditions down from generation to generation. Fishing is a way of life in Røkborg, with villagers spending countless hours on the lake, casting their lines in hopes of catching a big fish. Hunting is also an important activity, with the surrounding forests home to a variety of game animals.   In addition to fishing and hunting, the villagers of Røkborg also earn a living by ferrying adventurers down the Ǫlfossá Watn. The river is a challenging journey, with many rapids and obstacles, but it is also a scenic route that offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and forests. Adventurers who wish to travel to Rúnvatn or Grœnnvatn often hire the villagers of Røkborg to guide them down the river.   Røkborg is a tight-knit community, with its members relying on each other for survival and support. The villagers work together to protect their homes and their way of life, and they are always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
