The Press
Overview
The press in the Dynasty Universe operates on two levels. The planetary level and polity wide level.
Planetary or "regional" press outfits restrict themselves to reporting on the news of the world they are based on. Their networks are usually comprehensive and well informed, but limited geographically.
Only large press organizations valued at 10 billion adjusted dollars or more can realistically operate throughout Terran Space. They often rely on planetary level press outfits' discoveries and reporting and use their much larger reach to amplify the locally sourced news.
