Aveus Alya
Seeker Aveus Alya (a.k.a. Craft'lon)
Aveus Alya is the first Seeker of the Ordo Templaris fifth Crusade . Though technically has lived for over 400 years, his biological age is 33 years old and his historical age is 28 years old. Known also for being The First Blade of the fourth Crusade because of certain events that lead him back in time to defeat the Twin Kings. Born into a Royal Family, he later left his home planet due to complications with family and the throne of House Alya. Is known (by his people on Alpheridies) to be the fabled reincarnation of Craft'lon. During his early ages he lived with his family which consisted of his Mother, Father, Sister and Brother. Due to them all being Miraluka, they were all born Force Sensitive. Aveus was supposed to be put on a path of balance from the beginning, but due to aforementioned complications within the royal family, his path was changed and he pursued a life of darkness, (though he later would convert to the balance some time after joining the Ordo Templaris).

Personal history
Prior to Aveus' birth a prophecy was created within the Spires of Kalimahr by the ancient Order of the Dai Bendu. The Prophecy speaks of the fabled warrior, Craft'lon. He would be born in a time where his people and the galaxy will require him. The Original Craft'lon, Uldran Alya, was born 32,424 TYA, 372 years prior to the birth of Aveus Alya. Uldran was born in the Alpheridian tribe of Thorne as a son of the chieftain. Being extraordinarily strong in the force, he was recognised to be the fabled one from the prophecy. Though many would believe that this fabled warrior was indeed just a fable, they could not deny his affinity to the force. The prophecy spoke of a great darkness that was to come, and Uldran Alya would be the one to be the saviour of their people. He had accepted the balance from the beginning, viewing the teaching of Light and Dark as separate entities as mere lies. During the time of the Great Sith War, Uldran was forced to escape his home in order to one day return and reclaim what was lost to the invading Mandalorians. With the help of a man he did not know, he escaped the planet and was taken to the Spires of Kalimahr, where he met with the person that would be the closest thing to a master to him. He was introduced to a Muun by the name of Moh'il, a Dai Bendu priest. Moh'il explained how the prophecy was true, and that he would become the fabled Craft'lon. The process of the prophecy had begun, but it was long from finished. He was handed a special made eyewear, which had been created to hold vast knowledge and secrets, such secrets that could ruin one’s thoughts and make one be pushed to insanity. From that moment, he was officially known as the Blessed Rose, the Divine King, Craft'lon. Craft'lon would return to Thorne, joined by a minor fleet and a strong force, he led a major assault to liberate Alpheridies from its occupants. Though him and his people was a major part in the reclamation of their homeland, the victory and glory were taken by the Jedi and the Republic, and that is how history would remember it. The tribes unified under one banner, unanimously proclaiming Uldran Alya as their King. Thorne would become an almost self-sustaining Kingdom, one which the lineage of Uldran would rule and break over time. Uldran's son, Daea, would be the one who claimed a relic of the Dark, the Orb of Embal. With the power of this relic, he turned to the dark and usurped the throne. This act would cause the kingdom to lose its stability, and ultimately the kingdom fell. All that remained was the House of Alya and those who remained with it. The House relocated on Alpheridies, and they would live on for hundreds of years. The balanced society would live on; however, it would have been severely weakened by the purging performed by Daea. The only reason the society managed to survive up until the time of Aveus, is because Daea's second born, Savius, would be the one to guarantee the continuance of the Balanced society in secret. The prophecy speaks of a time where a Craft'lon would be reborn, and that time came with the birth of Aveus Alya.
Born into royalty, he was the first born and heir of the current ruler of House Alya, Deliverus Alya. In secret, he was raised to follow the balance in the force, to become a great warrior just as the prophecy had foretold. The secrecy was due to House Alya being a society that follows Bogan. Though there would be those who embraced the balance, it was not appropriate for a ruler to not be following Bogan. Aveus was openly named Kaelen, for his parents and his grandfather, Savius, were afraid of someone discovering the prophecy and potentially prove a danger to Aveus. Because his siblings were named in the prophecy, they too got aliases.
Aveus was raised under the strict tutelage of his father. It was important that he was shaped into what he was supposed to be. Aveus would be busy training and studying most of his days, learning techniques in blade mastery and gaining more knowledge in the force. In an irregular basis, he would be taken on a trip away from his home, accompanied by his father and grandfather, to a hidden Mausoleum. Inside, he would be greeted by a story, written in its walls, and he would sense presences that were not there. He would catch his father and grandfather secretly speaking to seemingly nobody, but he would not pay too much attention to it. Every time he would be taken to the mausoleum, more of the story would be revealed.
Aveus’ daily life was consumed by work, so he developed a great sense of duty and responsibility. But this later also lead to a lot of pride and selfishness. He would not manage to make friends due to the lack of time, which made him believe that he did not need friends, he could manage on his own along with his family. The greatest vex in his life would be his sister, Sendra (Kaeley) who is two years younger. She enjoyed teasing and annoying Aveus, which she succeeded very well in. His brother Boen (Kamber) would be an innocent child, only four years younger than Aveus, he would be kind, shy and very loved by their mother.
Reaching early teens, Aveus’ parents would meet their end prematurely in a somewhat similar fashion as Uldran. Deliverus would be betrayed by his own brother, Zourd, who was thirsty for the power. He would devise a plan along with those who would be loyal to him to one day sneak into the royal home of Aveus and murder both his parents. The plan was executed with ease. Zourd was trusted by the guardsmen and he easily overpowered his more powerful brother, with the help of his followers. They bound Aveus and his siblings in the atrium, swiftly executing his parents and scarring all three children both mentally and physically. This event changed Aveus for times to come.
Aveus would feel an unquenchable hatred inside. Vengeance was what he yearned for, and he would develop a very poor tolerance towards those who would betray their own. Seeking to become stronger, Aveus left his home discreetly, but before leaving the planet, he would make one last visit to the Mausoleum. Entering the Mausoleum was not the same as before. The text on its walls were gone, hidden. He would no longer sense the familiar presences among him, the mausoleum felt like a void to him.
He would hitchhike his way around the planet until he would find a way to leave the world and seek Korriban. Korriban sounded like the best next step for him to acquire the power he needed. Aveus would decide to sneak onboard a cargo shuttle as it was loading its shipment to then depart to Dromund Kaas. When finally stepping foot on the Imperial Capital, he would need a way to be transported to Korriban. Aveus lacked the official papers to be on Dromund Kaas, therefore he devised a plan to seek some sort of higher figure among the Sith to prove his worth to him. Accomplishing that, he would have safe transportation to Korriban. It would take him some time to find such a figure, but eventually he would find Darth Gered. Darth Gered was a greedy human male. He would not be extraordinarily powerful; he would rather focus on acquiring higher political positions and used cutthroat tactics to get what he wanted. Finding some use in Aveus and being pressured by his superiors to acquire an apprentice, he agreed to take Aveus to Korriban so that he could begin his training.
Aveus had already been extensively trained prior to arriving to Korriban, but it still was a major struggle for Aveus to succeed. He was still very young, and the odds were against him. He had to overcome rival acolytes and ancient tombs that could drive most minds to insanity. He would mercilessly defeat his rivals, but in doing so he descended further into the dark. Impressed by the outcome, Darth Gered officially recognized Aveus as his apprentice. Gered would use Aveus’ prowess in full use, constantly sending him on missions. Aveus acquired a lot of experience doing this, and he could feel himself grow. He would also begin studying the language of High Sith, until he could speak and write it fluently. Time would pass, and Aveus would feel stuck doing the same thing repeatedly. Being sent to some foreign planet to murder, extort and intimidate. Slowly he would realise that he was merely being used as a pawn by Gered, only further his plans without gaining anything himself. His master had not taught him anything significant, he was obviously weak and clueless when it came to strength and battle. Though he had become a formidable warrior, he knew that Gered was very clever, and would be expecting Aveus, should he decide to kill him. Having witnessed first-hand the cowardice and weakness of those he has worked with, he began to despise the Imperial culture. The day came where he decided to abandon the Sith, his master and the Empire. He was sent on a mission to act as bodyguard to a close ally of Gered, a Sith Diplomat on the planet of Toydaria. He was meant to protect the Diplomat from a rival Sith, but instead, Aveus decided to desert, which lead to the Diplomat being killed, and Gered left feeling furious. Not wanting his name to be negatively affected, Gered fabricated a story, telling his fellow Darth that Aveus had perished nobly and showed great amount of skill and power against numerous enemies before he was slain.
Aveus would stay on Toydaria for two years. He would learn the language of the Toydarians to some degree. He would begin taking mercenary jobs, while at the same time honing his body and mind through training and meditation, which would lead to him a determined and merciless warrior. He would make enough to get by, getting some equipment and supplies for himself, with even more to spare. He would be known, but he would not become a famous figure in the business. At the age of twenty, he would leave Toydaria, and star travelling constantly, taking up jobs whenever he could. For four years, he would continue this lifestyle, until he would realise that this is not fulfilling him. He is meant for something greater. In time, his attention would be drawn to a powerful group on the planet of Nar Shaddaa. Just by the emission from their auras, he was convinced. He decided to join the Atrox Ascensus. He would approach some of their remaining units after their mission was complete. In this way, he got into contact withe The Umbra, and the Atrox Ascensus personnel that was on board. He was granted a meeting on the ship, where he explained that he sought power and purpose, and that he believed that the Atrox Ascensus would grant him what he sought.
In his early days with the Atrox Ascensus, he was offered apprenticeship by Ehoc Starfury, a High Lord of the Atrox Ascensus at the time. There were terms to his offer, stating that Aveus was to be careful with his actions, and not reckless, for he would represent both himself and Ehoc should he accept the offer. Aveus accepted and vowed to remain by Starfury’s side. After his vow, a painful feeling, like a flashbang, inside Aveus’ head was all he could feel for a moment. Ehoc had penetrated his mind, uncovering everything from his past. During his time under Ehoc, his master had passed on some ancient power to Aveus, granting him the knowledge to perform the force ability; Force Blade. One of the last missions he was assigned by Ehoc was what lead him to gain a companion black Nexu, which he named Abafar, after the planet in which he found him.
Aveus would loyally serve Ehoc Starfury and follow his instructions and guidance, until the fateful day where he was ordered to kill his master and ascend into Lordship. The Imperatrix, Vexe, had for reasons unknown to Aveus, challenged Ehoc to a certamen, a battle to the death. Though Vexe was very powerful, his master still had a good chance, but the Imperatrix used dishonourable means to defeat Ehoc in the end, and the execution order was given to Aveus. He was released from his vows by Ehoc, and reluctantly, but inevitably, Aveus struck down his master. From that day forward he lost all sense of respect and loyalty to Vexe, and he viewed her as a vile deceptionist and manipulator.
Aveus would acquire his first experiences in leadership with the Atrox. Upon being promoted to Lord, he also acquired all the responsibility that came with the rank. Usually being a lone wolf, it was a new experience for him, but it was one that he would need. It was also later revealed that Ehoc had survived the execution, though he would return with metallic parts and limbs. To Aveus’ knowledge, Ehoc bore no grudge against Aveus, most likely because he had given his blessing to Aveus to do the deed.
Two years would pass, and Aveus would remain in the Atrox Ascensus, up until after the conquest of Ruun. Shortly after the victory, him and the rest of the Atrox members were dismissed, and for a time they would not have a place to go. For three months, Aveus returned to Alpheridies and perform espionage and put plans in motion. The time was almost due for him to retake his seat. But first, he needed an assault team, and with the dismissal from Atrox, he no longer had such numbers. It was at this time, Ehoc and Fenrir contacted him to assemble on a planet called Seswenna.
Aveus would travel to Seswenna and find himself among his old allies. Ehoc and Fenrir would tell them about the Ordo Templaris, an ancient order which worked to destroy the light. Aveus was intrigued and saw another chance to once more serve Ehoc. He would accept to join without hesitation, and so their crusade began. Aveus would serve the Order loyally and zealously, finding new purpose in its society, vowing to forever maintain its continuity. Aveus would initially join as one of the higher ranks, his direct superiors being Fenrir and Ehoc. It was also during this time he would return to Alpheridies to retake what rightfully belonged to him. His assault was successful with the might of the Ordo Templaris, along with the plans he had made prior to joining the order. He had allies on the inside who were still loyal to his father and saw Zourd as tyrannical. Aveus mercilessly vanquished his uncle and retook the throne, purging those who remained loyal to Zourd without a second thought. The House would be weakened for some time after that.
Despite ruling over an entire estate, Aveus would return to Seswenna and allow his sister to rule in his absence. Aveus felt a strong sense of duty to the order and refused to leave it behind. For almost a year the order would remain on Seswenna, until their enemies would arrive on their doorstep and force their retreat. Prior to the attack, Ehoc had left Seswenna without much explanation, and when they needed him the most he was not there. Yet, Aveus had full confidence in Ehoc, that he knew what he was doing, and that he would be the one to save them. For a few months, the order drifted around in space, awaiting the Templari’s call, until the day it actually came.
The order would land on the planet of Dosuun, where they would live on. Ehoc was revealed as a new person, the crusade had changed. The light was no longer the enemy, instead it was the corruption brought by the Empire and the Republic alike. All things that went against the balance of the force was now their enemy, though Aveus would have a difficult time to understand this for a while.
For some time, Aveus would be pressured to understand the balance, and to embrace it. It was repeated to him, because it was his destiny. He would struggle, and in time grow depressed in his failure, until the day he entered a calm and peaceful meditative state. This meditation lasted for fourteen days. Once he had woken up, everything was different. His knowledge in the force had massively increased, and he would have memories that would feel were not his, yet strangely at the same time they belonged to him. He had unlocked inner strength that had been hidden, due to being on the wrong path. This had readied him to become the Seeker of the order. All that remained was to acquire the ring.
Through sheer curiosity, Aveus decided to use some of the Ordo assets to scout out the Second City (otherwise known as Founders Fall City). The scouts would find a statue that perfectly resembled Aveus. Aveus would not wait for long to venture to the city, where an artefact was presented to him by a dead civilisation. Upon touching the artefact, he found himself in a plain swampy area. He had not travelled any distance, instead he had travelled in time. Aveus found himself roughly 400 years prior to his own time, towards the end of the Invasion of Dosuun by the Twin Kings in the fourth crusade. Being guided by Teregun, it was at this time he would finally become the Seeker. He was tested, and after some struggle, he would finally wear the ring.
Aveus’ mission was to approach the kings, Brexal Polisopolis and Hyrack Polisopolis, and confirm the prophecy that the daughters of the mist-walker had once preached to the kings. He was accepted by the kings, and after a few days, he would lead them towards their end on the future site of the Founders Fall City.
After they had defeated the templars of the false crusade along with the two kings, Aveus would be put into stasis with the help of Dr. Hermann Augustus Berg, to then be awoken by the Fifth Crusade in his own time.
