Artemis

Born on Helska III and brought up by her parents until age 10 when her mother died in the Cradle of Bogan. Although she was left with just a father, the Ordo Templaris had good systems in place to ensure the young would grow up in safe and loving environment. She never felt lonely or abandoned even though her father worked a lot, having a very large network around her. She was far from alone, many Templars were sent to the frontlines, or on different missions and so many children were left to caretakers on Helska III. When she was 14 her father died, and that did leave an impression on her, he had been very close to her and she always wanted to be just like him growing up. It was at that age Teregun and come to Helska III after learning that The Sangreal had been lost. He knew Aranor worked there and knew that now Jolenea would be alone. Having been friends with her father for years before she was even born he felt a responsibility to take care of the young girl, she was family to him. She knew and trusted Teregun, having grown up with him around her, calling him "Uncle T" she took comfort in his presence after her fathers death. She would follow Teregun wherever he went after he decided the education of the Helska facilities would not be enough for her, and she learned directly from him and the Architect. She would see and experience things most of the order never would and later in life she would convince Teregun and Mir to let her sacrifice her mortal bound flesh to become something more. She had seen too much, done too much with both of them to be faced with a normal mortal death. Teregun never approved of this action, he wanted no part of it but Mir, he saw the benefit of having another that could last through the ages. After her ritual Jolenea chose a new name for herself, claiming it was only fitting with her rebirth. She took the name Artemis, but kept Yarr and Gran as her last names in memory and honor of her biological and adoptive father. As Artemis she would become the Mother of the Architects creatures, working closely with him in the Cradle of life developing the different creatures there and making the Cradle what it was. She has a special love for all things living and are in many ways the opposite of The Flame in that she will go to great lengths to protect organic life.
