Le Delta Rouge
This delta of La Pourpre, a branching confluence of reddened fresh water currents. It is composed of plains and marshes, gradually exploitated by the entreprising inhabitants of Sang-Fond. Some persistent fiends remain despite having been cleared by the skilled defenders of the realm for two hundred years already. Those weak survivors are prime targets for wannabe adventurers seeking validation or young lords eager for sports.
Geography
Le Delta Rouge is located on the north-eastern shores of the Green Sea in the midst of the Fortern Kingdom. It spreads over 65 kilometresas the river it originates from –La Pourpre– branches into more than twenty instances.
Climate
Like most of the land bordering the Green Sea at such a latitude, Le Delta Rouge has maritime climate. It is stable and temperate, featuring cool to warm summers and cool to mild winters.
Fauna & Flora
Varied critters and insects inhabit the territory. Weak fiends as strong as rabbits, small poisonous amphibians, or lesser managed to survive their previously systematic eradication, supplying themselves on the weaker less aggressive animals. Migratory fishes populate the waters.
The most dangerous period occurs when Dire-Ducks fly West from the Verdant Steppes on their way to The Square and the warmer lands of the South-West. Only the most prepared dare face such a swarm for the valuable Dire Down prized by tailors.

History
Historically, le Delta Rouge is said to have been the location of the largest inception of Easternite First Sent during the First Sending more than five centuries ago. With plenty of fresh water and animals, the earliest Human settlers struggled against the novel monsters they were forced to face. Remnants of their earliest settlements, made of wood and lumped clay, still exist for those with the eye to spot them.
