Axomamma
Axomamma is the Pioneer Dynasty goddess of potatoes, whose domain sometimes expands to include root vegetables and the soil. She is most revered in rural communities with cold or mountainous climates, particularly in northern Erdelan and within halfling and dwarven settlements.
Much as Fricka crafted humans and dwarves from the earth, it is said that her daughter Axomamma (then a very young goddess) followed behind her and helped the new people by shaping the earth into potatoes for them to eat. The first produce of the year is said to have a spirit because of her, which protects all subsequent crops when revered. Oddly-shaped potatoes or root vegetables are also worshipped, seen as a sign that Axomamma's hand is still pulling new creations from the soil. An old dwarven superstition says that if a family harvests an unusual root vegetable while a child is in the womb, that child will grow up to be a cleric or other holy person. (This may be a self-fulfilling prophecy due to familial pressure; however, at least a few records exist of aasimar children being heralded by strangely-shaped vegetables.)
Tokens and depictions of Axomamma are often carried by druids of the Circles of the Land who are tasked with protecting farmlands and increasing their yield.
