Grimhild the Witch

Grimhild is a member of the courtly fey. She knew her mother's story well and swore she would never submit to any man. She had no children, but she shared her power and knowledge with countless women in the world. She became known as the Mother of All Witches. Many followers of Wicca still worship Grimhild, and believe that she blesses them still. Her cousin, Nicnevin—self-declared Queen of All Witches—is Grimhild's greatest rival. While Grimhild's magic is generally considered balanced, Nicnevin leans toward black magic and is known to be power hungry. Grimhild spends most of her time these days in the Feywild, but ocassionally visits a large oak tree somewhere in the wider world where her followers can visit and petition her for gifts and blessings.
