Varonian Trade Coalition
The Varonian Trade Coalition, or Öšdúu-Ðýteŋi-Ómonïŋ (the Öšdúu who fight for [the act of] exchange[ing]), was an alliance in Varonith that appeared in the First, Second, and Third Varonian Wars. Its members varied through all three wars; however, the Coalition almost always fought for trade freedom, and were largely successful in that respect.
First Varonian Coalition
The First Varonian Coalition took part in the First Varonian War and consisted of the cities of Vërðïm, Lómóhüd, and Kal-Haðü. Although it did not establish as nearly a tight of an alliance as these three cities had, the city of Güðün, which was then part of the tribe of Varhoŋïð-Khalúš, is often included due to the tribe's influential role in causing the defeat of the Maðúšýï, the Coalition's main enemy in the war. However, the three grouped cities by themselves were intensely linked, often mixing armies and tactics between each other during the War. The leader, initially Žülfaðïŋ-Ürkaž, the Öšdúu-Vërðïm, became Ölh-Ïýëk, a Vërðïan commander, whose incorporation of all three cities quickly gained him immense popularity and loyalty far exceeding the duration of the conflict itself.
