Gršáŋvšaŋžl

Gršaŋvšaŋžl was the second Ðhýúŋðókk, that is, the leader of the Varhoŋïð-Khalúš Tribe, ruling from 24988 to 24964 AYM. He is responsible for the tribe's involvement in the First Varhoŋïan War of 24976 AYM, during which they demolished the cities of the Maðúšýï Tribe and drove their army back from the Hýyo-Wýðúr. However, his ultimate goal of establishing diplomatic ties with the Hýyo-Wýðúr was not successful.

Biography

Gršaŋvšaŋžl's name is a staple format for those of the Khalúšians. This consisted of the repetition of certain phonemes (letter clusters), and it dates back to the Ýlëntuk Family, whose high-low class divide would correspond roughly to the populations of Kairn and Khalúš. The high class, having greater access to the Family's history, would tend to adopt names referring to ancestral figures, while the low class would shorten these names and repeat them over and over in their own names. As such, lower-class names were paradoxically longer than those of the high class.

Gršaŋvšaŋžl's name shows this repetitive nature through the repetition of the phoneme 'šaŋ', which is likely a shortened form of an ancestral figure. Due to the divisive relationship between the Khalúšians and the Kairns, it is more probable that this figure came from relatively recent times and/or only produced descendants that adhered to the Khalúšian perspective.

Gršaŋvšaŋžl was born in the year 25020 AYM, which was coincidentally the same year when the Ýlëntuk Family departed en masse from the Ïlýrhonid Tribe. Given the tumult of the coming events, it is most likely that Gršaŋvšaŋžl was born before the departure occurred. When the departure did occur, he would be brought with them to the Volain Forest, and in the ensuing months, the once-united Family would fracture into two distinct groups, those being Kairn and Varhoŋïð-Khalúš, which were split based on their differing opinions about further actions regarding the Ïlýrhonid Tribe's government. However, trends indicated that in general, low-class individuals were more likely to be part of the Khalúšians.
