It is 11:50 on the night of 8/29. I have ten minutes to speedrun the reading challenge.

I have already made massive progress; the first half of the year saw the refinement of such topics like the Hýyó-Hayïd, Hýyo-Wýðúr, and the First Ýlëntukian War, which spread in July-August to the First Varhoŋïan War, the Syöwú-Iyöphl, and now I am just about coming to the Crisis of 24982 AYM and the Kaultedtian Wars, the two final conflicts of the Heta-Ýmor-Vëtam period. All of these events are part of this period, which in total lasted 52 years. That is 52 years out of more than 20,000. You can tell that this project will kill me. You can also tell that I've been using the blue links in abundance to artificially raise the wordcount to 300 words as soon as possible.

Alright, this is the game plan for September, October, November, and December. The Crisis and the Wars represent two of the largest and bloodiest conflicts to date, and I already feel daunted by them. This is further exasperated by the restarting of the school year, which busies my schedule with more than 12 hours every workday. To effectively work on this, I'll have to first revamp my way of life to better incorporate both worlds equally. This is something to wrestle with on September.

Overall, I still aim for 500K words by December 31st. The daily rate of words stands still at 1871, even though the goal of august (around 280K) was not reached. Right now, I sit at around 265K. In September, I wish to continue working on the Crisis and the Kaultedtian Wars of 24982-81 AYM as the focus, but given the sheer scope, I'll use the Ýmor-Lhrúuŋðarr and the First Harýšian War as a refresher so I don't get too bored. I also want to make strides in the history, so near the latter half of September I'm gonna want to concern the Heta-Ýmor-Mošindë, which should carry me to 24616 AYM. Given my current situation, the words I gain in September should be 56,160 words, or 322,224 in total. I should aim for 350,000, but given schoolwork, I doubt I can entertain that high goal.

October should be when I transition to other places. I've spent 99% of my time writing about the Blýfónic Valley, and the fact that the Kaultedtian Wars, which I should have mostly completed by then, occur not in the Valley but in the Tayzem Region, means that this would be a wonderful opportunity to broaden my horizons and make great progressin making my world an actual world and not a mere landmass. To balance it, I want to work on the neglected tribes of Ðýïlïŋú and Mórr-Harýš, and potentially work on the Ürïstúd Family, who I just now have realized to have neglected greatly. Given my goals, I should have 380,256 words by the end of October, although I will likely be reaching for 400K.

November should be the time I come back to the Hýyó-Hayïd and Hýyó-Wýðúr, particularly in tracing out their history from the end of the First Varhoŋïan War in 24976 all the way to the breakout of the Varonian Civil War in 24533 AYM. I'll also need to simultaneously incorporate the history of the Varhoŋïð-Khalúš and Kairn, as their conflict evolves with the former's involvement in Wýðúrian and Hayïdic politics. Now, the main threat to the entire project in the background is paradoxically in this region as well; while the civil war happens in 24538-24533 AYM, the next major event (besides the various shenanigans with the Ardunioz tribe) is the demise of the Ïlýrhonid Tribe nearly two whole millennia later in 22711 AYM. That is a monstrous amount of time that I must fill with dense history, and the thought alone of this endeavour makes me shudder. However, the struggle should be the means by which I achieve 436416 words by December 1st, which I'll boost to 450K for prosperity.

December is the finishing stretch, hopefully. According to my calculator, I should be at 494446 Words by the end of the year, which is a poisonous trap of calculation error. I have no idea where my mistake was, but this means that we must aim for the upper, 'unrealistic' wordcount goals by all means, in all months. In effect, this means a flat 50K words per month. We'll discuss the specifics of this later. For now, December should be about tidying things up and making sure the world is ready for the new year. In essence, this would be the finishing up of any and all straggler goals from the earlier months, the boosting of all stub articles, the updating of any and all old articles whose narratives have not been adjusted, etc. I know full well that given my situation, the sheer expectations I have for all four months is downright preposterous, and that I will by all means fail on at least half of them. December I set no immediate goals because it is to be the month of cleanup and nice tidy knots. I want this world to be perfectly primed for future development, so we can get the ball rolling again as soon as possible. Who knows, I might go for a million next year.

Now, the specifics. I've said that we will need at least a blanket 50K words per month. This means, assuming there are 30 days in a month, 1.67K words (1670 words) per month. This is somehow lower than the 1871 words per day I got from my calculations. Strange. The most free parts of my schedule are due to be the weekends by far, so that must be the time in which I make up for the deficits in the weekdays. This Labor Day Weekend is especially promising, and I aim for 275K words by the end of it as a jumpstart and a major morale boost. Honestly, given how laggy my wordtracking page has become (The Dead Chicken in my Soup), I think I'll just relocate the tracker here, so you have an idea both of where I am at and where I plan to be in terms of progress. Yeah, that's a properly good idea.
