Žïkr-Kha
Žïkr-Kha, or Giarcha, was the military commander of the Haðïan army during the First Phase of the First Varhoŋïan War of 24976 AYM. Later, during the Second Phase, he would end up taking refuge in the city of Lómóhüd, where he would found the Lómóhüdian Expedition in early-Ulta-Eimarae, 24976 AYM. In 22 Ulta-Eimarae, due to physical injuries, he would resign as the leader of the Expedition, only to be thrust into politics merely three days later as the fifth Öšdúu-Lómóhüd. He would die in the Battle of Lómóhüd of 1 Geta-Eimarae, 24976 AYM, thus becoming the shortest-reigning Öšdúu-Lómóhüd at just under three days. For his many actions during the war, he would be venerated by the Lómóhüd, and is to this day one of the only such honored figures to not have been associated with Lómóhüd itself.
Biography
Žïkr-Kha is noted for being one of the first known figures to be born outside the Ïlýrhonid Tribe. He was born in the city of Kal-Haðü itself, in what was most likely a makeshift pit (a very early form of the Eŋi-Prëdurëp) in the ground. His name follows the traditions of the Ërtúfën Family, as the two halves of his name reference Ërtúfian glyphs that are a staple of their names. However, due to the intermingling and cultural diversity of the populace, it is unknown if he was fully or partially descended from the Family, or if he was simply cared for by someone who adhered to these traditions.
Khaörtúš
Žïkr-Kha's next major mention in the historical record is in 24976 AYM, at the onset of the First Varhoŋïan War. Like a significant part of the population, he would become part of the army. Due to the inexperience and discomfort of the ruling king Aškar-Ïbahlút when it came to battle, Žïkr-Kha would be chosen as the commander in his place. The role would be named the Khaörtúš, or Kha-Örtúš, in his honor, and it held effective command over all Haðïan troops.
Žïkr-Kha would drill these men fiercely, and as such, he would become a favorite of Žülfaðïŋ-Ürkaž and Ölh-Ïýëk, the two Vërðïan commanders. However, his major presence on the battlefield would be his detriment as well, and his aggressive way of fighting caused him to suffer severe injuries throughout the battles of the First Phase of the War. By the end of the Battle of Vërðïm-Ŋüž, he had lost eyesight in half of his eight eyes and had motor function in only 5 of his legs. Due to his injuries, it would take a while for him to retreat back northwards, and the Maðúšýï army's speed, which rushed to block off the strategic city of Vërðïm, forced Žïkr-Kha to go to Lómóhüd instead. His absence was greatly mourned in the home city of Kal-Haðü, whose walls the gravely injured Žïkr-Kha would never meet again. Although his tenure as the Khaörtúš was never really formally ended, Žïkr-Kha would lose effective control of his army during the scrambled and disorganized retreat after the Battle of Vërðïm-Ŋüž.
Lómóhüdian Expedition
In Lómóhüd, the ruling Öšdúu-Lómóhüd, Ðhrýïŋïr, began to consider making a pact with the Maðúšýïans in an effort to protect the city. In direct response, Žïkr-Kha would form the Lómóhüdian Expedition in 2 Suta-Eimarae. This was a resistance force that would disrupt Maðúšýïan plans and serve as the main Coalition force during the siege warfare of the Second Phase.
