Úvremk
Úvremk was the second Hyvamto-Maðúšýï, or the king of the Maðúšýï tribe, from his coronation in 25001 to his death in the First Varhoŋïan War of 24976 AYM. He is widely celebrated for his reshaping of the Maðúšýïan philosophy and his successful offensives in the First Varhoŋïan War, although the decimation of cities like Hayïd-Entëž has soiled his reputation.
Biography
Early Life
Úvremk's name is mentioned in the Khólteð Family's Žötó-Ïdhatón. He was a member of the Hayïdic Expedition of 25032 AYM, thus among the first generation of emigrants. This Expedition was the first major venture out of the Ïlýrhonid Tribe. During and after the Expedition, Úvremk lived in Óm-hayïd until 25019 AYM, when the tribe of Varhoŋïð-Khalúš took over and evicted the population. From then on, he would live in Hayïd-Entëž until the creation of the Maðúšýï in 25019 AYM, when, driven by his loyalty to the Hýyó-Hayïd and his bitterness about the takeover of Óm-hayïd, he would move to Žënhðwör to pledge his allegiance to the newly-founded tribe.
Úvremk is noted as being one of the most active members of the raiding party during this time. Of the 37 raids recorded as occurring during the reign of Gýbakk, he would participate in 35 of them, losing 3 legs and 2 eyes in the process. He adhered to Gýbakk's philosophy to an astounding degree, preferring to be one of the first into the target city despite his wounds.
Ambush of Šahr-Óðlýn and Öðma-Amakoð
The last of Gýbakk's 37 raids was the Ambush of Šahr-Óðlýn and Öðma-Amakoð, a disastrous mission on the twin cities of Šahr-Óðlýn and Öðma-Amakoð in 25001 AYM. This would result in his death and the massacre of a significant part of the Maðúšýïan army. Úvremk himself barely escaped death by playing dead in the outskirts of the cities and limping back to Žënhðwör over the course of a week.
The severity of the casualties sent shockwaves throughout the Maðúšýïan tribe for weeks after the initial defeat. Úvremk himself would require two weeks of rest because his injuries were so severe. According to records, this period of rest, during which the Maðúšýïans had no definitive leader, featured numerous skirmishes with particularly opportunistic Khalúšian forces. For Úvremk himself, the period of rest transformed him greatly. From a mere mindless devout, he became a skeptic of the Gýbakkian philosophy, transforming it into what would become the Úvremkian philosophy, a staple of his own reign.
After the two weeks of rest, he would promptly unite the scattered portions of the Maðúšýïan populace and be recognized as the second Hyvamto-Maðúšýï on 24 Anta-Eimarae, 25001 AYM.
