Goah

Goah is a walled ghetto within the city of Knapsworth. While not all orcs in the city are to be found there, any orc or half orc unfurtunate enough to run afoul of the law in the city is quickly imprisoned there.   Walled on all four sides, and ringed by guard towers, and only a single checkpoint, the Sundered Gate, for entrance and exit, breaking out of Goah is difficult, but not impossible, with escape aided by a network of tunnels constructed by the Silent Footsteps. The guard is aware of these tunnels' existence, and collapses them whenever they are found.   Knapsworthian control in Goah is limited, and, in the rare instance when the guard does enter the district, they do so briefly, in large, heavily equipped formations.   Daily life in Goah is a perpetual struggle, as few resources are allocated to making the district livable. Misery, suffering, and hardship are the norm here.   Goah was sectioned off from the main city 70 years ago, as part of a push to expand lands controlled by humans.
