Aegnor Narkhanar

Aegnor of House Narkhanar was a formidable being even before his time. He had experience as ruler of countries in the material plane, of tribes in Arborea, and a True Conqueror in the name of the Elvish Pantheon. Ever since his birth he was a religious soldier who dedicated his eternity to the service of the elvish gods. Before being a ruler, he fought in Outer-Planar wars, lost his soul many times, only to be reborn. He cut through Nishrek, the Nine Hells, the Abyss, and even Limbo at his prime.   However, after centuries of service, he asked the Gods for a prize, one that not even the most loyal souls dared to desire, freedom. His wishes, wills, desires, and "feelings" were NOT his, the Gods he served controlled them all to their advantage. Aegnor, who then was nameless, knew this and accepted it, but his soul was so scarred after so many battles that, if he went on for even one more fight, he would surely cease to exist.   Unsurprisingly, his wishes were denied, and he was doomed once again to fight till his eternity was no more, so to fighting he went, and his soul was obliterated in the process...  

The Rebirth

  It was a miracle... unbeknownst to him, the Gods had planned it all, his wish to be free, his demise, and his rebirth, of course, the Gods controlled every aspect of him so he was foolish to think he could even have desires, but why did they give him this wish? Was it his own? Or did the Gods want to dispose of him?
He never understood, but he was reborn a Humanoid Half-Elf in the City of Sigils, where he could choose his next destination to live the rest of his long life that was granted as... a gift?   For no one's surprise, when he became aware of a Plane that sold the concept of no Godly Intervention inside its parameters, Novarkan. He knew that was the place for him, he didn't want no more Gods to manipulate his will and give him desires that he didn't even know if they were his, he sought to be a free soul, so to Novarkan he came.   During the Great Migration, he allegedly met The King himself, yes, he is one of the three recorded men who saw ever the King directly in his Divine Essence, and he was granted an opportunity... and an opportunity he took. He was chosen to lead, so he applied the philosophy he learned throughout years and years of interplanar war, and tried to fulfill his Grace's mission of conquering the plane, by any means physically and metaphysically possible...

And the rest, is history.

When he migrated to Novarkan and was named Executor of the Sacred Monarchy, he built the realm from the ground up. He was the lead architect of Yhernier, the Sacred Capital, and its Three Walls, he set up all the Control Mechanisms of the Government, the Three Powers, the Military and Religious Organizations, including the King's Guard and the Order of the Magistrates, and he allocated the migrating population of Generation 0, including the Sorcerous Families, later called the Great Houses, to their respective towns and villages.   He was seen as a Great President, a devout soldier of the King, and had full support of the building magical aristocracy, so he founded a Great House named Narkhanar when he married an Elvish Sorcerer named Galadriel Narkhanar, since he had no Family Name, he built the House in her name, and sought to continue his legacy through it.   But, no matter his great expertise and military prowess, he couldn't expect that his efficient but unpopular philosophy of conquering a hostile plane by any means possible was going to be the doom of his Reign, and of his Legacy...   His Great House was based on the Golden Citadel he himself built, the seat of Government, and there he fathered to two elvish children, all of whom carried their mother's sorcerous prowess, a feat so rare that both their birthdays were declared national holidays.
He then sought to make royal alliances between the other Great Houses, trying to blood oaths by marrying their children and giving special treatment to those who accepted and brought the most resources to the cause. Something that was not liked by the populace.
  He was also visibly amazed by the beauty of life, and terrified by the fragility of it. His counselors expressed that he wouldn't let his children out of the Citadel for fear of them loosing their life to a single beast that he forgot to kill in the Capital's Environs. And after years, and years of a fear he never felt before, he decided to accelerate things... On the dawn of the first day of the third month of the year 11 PSM, he declared the political action that would taint his name forever, the dreaded Purge, where he explicitly declared the extermination of all hostile natural life that could threaten their own, and finally earned the title for which he would forever be remembered, President Aegnor Narkhanar, the Ruthless. For this purpose, he created an organization of pure destruction, control and torture which would torment the continent of Mystralis for years to come, the Mental Police Corp.   When the Coup led by Ernesto Sánchez finally penetrated his family home, he didn't even have the wits to challenge them to battle, he was allegedly so scared by his family being hurt that, after the First Wall fell, he escaped to a private demiplane where his family would see no harm until the end of the war. But in the end, he and his family were found and their plane intercepted by the allied wizards of the capital, he immediately bent the knee and desperately asked for the forgiveness of his family, in exchange for his head. But Ernesto Sánchez was not one of those leaders, he was a good man, one who didn't sought to repeat history for ever more, so he spared the whole of Aegnor's lineage and exiled them to an undisclosed location, never to be found again.
