The Eikarspír province, nestled at the heart of the Crownlands, unfolds its breathtaking landscapes of lush temperate rainforests and dense boreal forests. At its core lies Aether, the majestic capital that not only serves as the seat of power for the Eikarn Dynasty but also embodies the cultural heart of the region. The air in Aether carries the symphony of forest sounds, and the scent of the woodlands weaves through the daily life of its inhabitants.   While Aether and its surrounding provinces produce an array of goods, the lifeblood that courses through its veins is trade. The province thrives as a bustling center of commerce, with caravans and ships laden with treasures from distant lands converging on its markets. Lumithril, a precious metal infused with the essence of the feywild, stands as the jewel in Aether's trade repertoire, attracting merchants, artisans, and adventurers from far and wide.  

Lumithril

Lumithril, a precious metal infused with the ethereal essence of the feywild, possesses a breathtaking lustrous sheen that seems to capture the very essence of moonlight and starlight. Its bright silver-white shine sets it apart, making it a captivating material highly sought after throughout Eikholt. Renowned for its exceptional durability and enchantability, Lumithril carries subtle magical properties that elevate it to a realm beyond ordinary metals.   For skilled smiths, forging with Lumithril presents an initial challenge, its magical nature resisting the conventional shaping techniques. However, with time and mastery, Lumithril yields to the will of the craftsman, seemingly shaping itself into the envisioned form. More intriguingly, over time, Lumithril takes on unique properties, attuned to the needs and ambitions of the wearer. A blade might gain an ethereal sharpness, a shield might manifest protective wards, and armor could adapt to the wearer's movements with uncanny precision.   While Lumithril can be found scattered throughout the entirety of Eikholt, it is in Eikarspír where this mystical metal is most prevalent, bestowing both riches and fame upon the province, and weaving tales of craftsmanship and enchantment that resonate through the Crownlands.  

Military

Regarding Eikarspír's military might, two distinguished factions unfurl their banners, each a living embodiment of the province's strength and legacy: The Sentinels and The Ancients.  

The Sentinels

The Sentinels, stalwart guardians of Eikarspír, form the backbone of the province's military prowess. Their duties span the realms of local defense and warfare, a dual commitment that defines their valor on the battlefield and their vigilance within the city walls.   Recruited primarily from local communities—cities, towns, and farms—the Sentinels boast a force predominantly comprised of volunteers. In times of crisis, a draft may be implemented to meet dire needs. Leading the charge in each major city or population center is a Knight Captain, chosen from the district to ensure familiarity with the local guards and foster a robust bond with the civilian population. Loyalty is paramount, pledged not just to the Eikarn family but, above all, to the sovereign entity of Eikarspír.   The Sentinel hierarchy is structured with precision. Knight Captains command districts, overseeing lieutenants, sergeants, and corporals who manage specific areas. Each Knight Captain becomes a paramount figure in times of war, responsible for their detachment of local Sentinels. The province is further divided into sectors, each under the watchful eye of a Lord Commander, orchestrating Sentinel activities within that domain. At the zenith of this intricate hierarchy stands the Sovereign Marshal, the overseer of all Sentinel endeavors, delegating crucial responsibilities to the esteemed Lord Marshals.   Clad in uniforms of dark greens and subdued steel, the Sentinels blend into the shadows, donning weapons that prioritize functionality and uniformity. This strategic choice ensures they stand as a united force, a silent shield against any threat that looms over Eikarspír.
