The helm of Anchorpoint's governance rests firmly in the hands of the Harbor Master, a figure as weathered and resolute as the timbers of the town's ships. Charged with navigating the turbulent waters of taxation, defense, and harbor operations, the Harbor Master commands a council of advisors, each a seasoned sailor in their own right, to steer the town toward prosperity.   Master of Coin
As coins change hands and fortunes rise and fall with the tide, the Master of Coin stands as the town's guardian of wealth and prosperity. With watchful eyes scanning the horizon, they stand as the custodian of Anchorpoint's maritime customs and security. From inspecting cargo holds for contraband to guiding ships safely to port, the Lightkeeper's vigilance ensures that the town remains a beacon of safety amidst the swirling currents of the sea.

Defences

The primary defense force of Anchorpoint comprises the local Sentinels, a dedicated group mostly composed of volunteers. Adorned in uniforms bearing the town's crest, their attire is accented with shades of dark blue, symbolizing their close ties to the sea.   In addition to the vigilant Sentinels, Anchorpoint is fortified by sturdy walls encircling the town, shielding its inhabitants from potential threats emanating from the dense woods beyond.

Industry & Trade

The main source of income for Anchorpoint is that of commerce, as many a traveler make their way here when making their way to Aether or other parts of Eikarspír. As such goods from lands from afar can often be found here.   Additioanally, fishing and harvesting various goods from the ocean is one of the most important avenues of not only income, but also one of the main ways it supplies itself.

Mariner's Row
Envisioned as the beating heart of Anchorpoint's maritime community, Mariner's Row boasts a rugged charm that reflects its seafaring heritage. Its narrow cobblestone streets wind between weather-beaten buildings adorned with flags and the unmistakable scent of brine.   The Dockside District
Vibrant and eclectic, the Dockside District pulses with the energy of commerce and trade. Here, the Harvestfront Market bursts to life with a kaleidoscope of sights and sounds, its bustling lanes lined with stalls overflowing with exotic spices, shimmering pearls, and the day's freshest catch. Against the backdrop of the Seafarer's Wharf, ships of all sizes jostle for space as merchants barter with salty seafarers, creating a vibrant tableau of maritime activity.   The Saltwind District
A haven of creativity and craftsmanship, the Saltwind District is a tapestry of artisanal excellence and timeless tradition. Cobblestone lanes wind past workshops and ateliers where skilled artisans ply their trades, their deft hands fashioning exquisite garments, intricate jewelry, and finely crafted wares. As the military district of Anchorpoint, The Crest has some of the tightest secururity one can find within this town. Here most of the Sentinels are housed, their training grounds and many of their smiths and other auxiliaries. It also serves as a buffer to the Azure Keep, where the Harbor Master recides.   The Tidepool Terrace
A bustling crossroads of culture and commerce, The Tidepool Terrace beckons travelers and locals alike with its vibrant tapestry of sights, sounds, and flavors. Colorful market stalls spill onto the cobblestone streets, offering a tantalizing array of goods from distant lands and exotic delicacies to tempt the palate. Against a backdrop of lively taverns and bustling cafes, the district pulses with the rhythm of life, inviting visitors to lose themselves in its bustling energy and vibrant charm.

Points of interest

The Azure Keep
Located at the innermost edge of the Crest, the Azure Keep is the main stronghold and the home for the Harbor Master. This keep is the oldest building of the town, serving as the original fort of which Anchorpoint would eventually be built around.   The Terrace
Main biggest market of Anchorpoint, known as the Terrace, is where one will find many traveling merchants and foreigners peddle their goods. Here one will find the majority of craftsmen such as blacksmiths, armorers and alchemists.   The Seafarer's Wharf
The Seafarer's Wharf is serves as the main harbor for Anchorpoint, where most ships transporting goods or travelers will anchor. Customs officers stand by to inspect any cargo making its way here, making sure no illicit goods make their way into the city proper.   Sentinel's Reach
This smaller port is located in the Crest, and functions as a priority port for military and diplomatic vessels. As such, heightened security and greater scrutiny in regards to what shops make port here is to be expected, and trespassers are often dealt with swiftly and with little regard for their safety.   The Mariner's Rest
The Mariner's Rest, located within the Saltwind District, is one of the most popular taverns of Anchorpoint, with many sailors making their way here for rest after making port in the Seafarer's Wharf. Offering both lodging and meals at an affordable price. Anyone in need of services extending to the oceans will surely find anything they need here.   The Salty Dog Tavern
This pub is a common quick stop for seafarers making a short stop. Located at the edge of the Dockside district and the Seafarer's Wharf, this tavern offers a veriety of drinks and food, and is another place to look for work for any aspiring sailor.   The Anchor's Heart
This inn located in the center of the Tidepool District, the Anchor's Heart is by and afar the most popular inn of all of Anchorpoint, offering a fantastic getaway from the busy streets and markets of the district, a wide verity of drink and food, as well as several lodging options. One looking to network or do buisiness will find plenty of opportunity here.   The Anden and the Tidearch
The Anden River flows through the heart of Anchorpoint, dividing the town into two distinct halves, while the Tidearch Bridge stands as the sole passage connecting both sides.
