Bone Hills

There are no known settlements in the Bone Hills. It is a pocket of wilderness surrounded by the civilized territory of Westland.

Geography

The Bone Hills is an area of rugged hills in southern Westland. The 100-200 foot tall hills are too steep and rocky for farming or harvesting lumber. The numerous stone outcropping are well known for the large number of fossils found there, hence the name of the hills.   The surrounding terrain is rolling hills and level plains, which are much more ammendable to agriculture and the timber trade. Heavy hunting by nearby settlements has depleted the wild deer population, putting pressure on the predators living in the Bone Hills.
