In her human form, Viv has short orange hair and bright green eyes.   Viv's Demon Form, Hemynapoda, is a hornet-like creature with a segmented body and a stinger blade from her abdomen. She has two light yellow wings on her back and a humanoid head with antennae and purple eyes.

Healing: While Viv's insectoid wings can be torn off, she can grow them back in a few days at least.   Flight: Due to insectoid wings in her demon form she possesses the ability of flight.   Enhanced Speed: She can move up to speeds so fast that she is seen as a blur.   Stinger Blade: While in her demon form Viv can produce a stinger blade from her abdomen that can be used as a sword or a projectile.   Stingers: In her demon form Viv can shoot stingers laced with poison from the palms of her hands.   Shapeshifting: Viv can shift between her original human form and her demon form as Hemynapoda.   Fire Immunity: Like all Demons, Viv possesses a natural immunity to standard flames.    Superhuman Stamina: Viv's healing factor grants her superhuman stamina and is partially immune to fatigue toxins generated by physical exertion and thus has greater endurance than normal Humans.    Claws: Viv has powerful claws and is able to cut through solid walls.    Superhuman Agility: Viv possesses enhanced levels of agility that are far beyond the natural physical limits of a human.    Hand-to-Hand Combat (Basic): As part of her training with the Monster Hunter Guild, Viv has learned how to fight instead of just relying on her powers.    Superhuman Strength: Viv possesses great strength, allowing her to lift heavy loads and combat foes that would otherwise overwhelm her. Her physical strength also extends to her legs, enabling her to be able to push off the ground to jump great distances and heights.    Superhuman Durability: Viv's body is physically tougher and more resistant to some types of injury than the body of a normal human. Her body is more resistant to impact forces than anything else.    Superhuman Equilibrium: Viv possesses the ability to achieve a state of perfect equilibrium in any position imaginable. She seems able to adjust her position by instinct, which enables her to balance herself on virtually any object, no matter how small or narrow.    Superhuman Reflexes: Viv's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are currently about forty times greater than those of an ordinary human.    Fangs: Viv has a mouth full of razor-sharp fangs.   Night Vision: Viv, as a demon has Night Vision, allowing her to see in pitch-black conditions.

She wears a black and amber buttoned-up jacket with an x-shaped patch over a grey T-tunic. She has arm and knee pads as well as a belt containing her throwing knives in a small box.
