Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Fawkes has crimson feathers on his body and a golden tail as long as a peacock's. He is roughly the size of a swan. His claws and beak are gleaming gold and his eyes are black. The scarlet body feathers glow faintly in darkness, while the golden tail feathers are hot to the touch.
In his human form, he takes the form of a male human with slightly tanned skin, black eyes and short, red, messy hair of British decent.
Special abilities
Healing Magic: Fawkes is able to heal most injuries simply by crying on them.
Immortality: Like all phoenixes, Fawkes is immortal. He periodically dies by bursting into flames (an event called a "Burning Day"), and is then reborn from the ashes.
Super Strength: As a phoenix, Fawkes can carry immensely heavy loads.
Apparition: Being a phoenix, Fawkes has the natural ability to Apparate at will, disappearing and reappearing in a flash of fire. He can do so regardless of anti-Apparition enchantments. Fawkes can also take people along with him, as well as remotely teleport one of his feathers and send it to a distant location as a form of signal or warning.
Physical Combat: Although phoenixes are gentle and are not known for fighting, Fawkes is able to blind enemies by gouging out their eyes, showing he has clear ability in physically wounding his opponents.
Phoenix Song: Fawkes also possess remarkable and soul-touching singing talents. A single note of his song is said to have effects similar to swallowing a drop of warming liquid, and instilling courage and calm. Phoenix song is reputed to increase the courage of the pure of heart and strike fear into the heart of the impure.
Flight: Fawkes can naturally fly thanks to his naturally generated wings.
Genius Level Intellect: Fawkes has shown incredible intelligence and computational abilities; his mind works sharply and with extreme speed relative.
Hand-to-Hand Combat (Basic): As part of his training with under the Knight of Skyralzar, Fawkes has learned how to fight instead of just relying on his powers.
Master of Stealth: Fawkes can appear from place to place without being detected.
Archery Skills: Fawkes has incredible archery skills.
