During the reign of United Earth, Jump Gates existed throughout the galaxy, connecting the disparate peoples together nearly instantly.
Complexity
Jump Gates were lost with the downfall of the Psychic Concordat and the start of The Scream. However, when they were in widespread use, they required dozens of master teleporters, who would use their psychic powers to send ships to a linked gate.
