United Earth
History
The United Nations realized in 2200 that the various groups that had begun to colonize the galaxy were creating a situation in which rivalry, antipathy, or piracy would devolve into open war. Instead of this, it was agreed to centralize into United Earth and establish some kind of command and control over the rapidly spreading human colonization. In addition, it was rumored that there were non human states in the galaxy looking to combat the spread of humanity and humanity needed an authority capable of fighting back.
Disbandment
Dissolved by the Psychic Concordat who took control over the creation and use of psitech, forcing people to recognize their authority.
