Personal history
In quiet corners of bars filled with veterans of the revolution, Hayreb is referred to as "The Butcher of St. Arrin's Gate". This is in reference to a particular battle during the rebellion in which Hayreb instigated a campaign of mass assault against a dug in Imperial Army. While victorious, and the record indicating it as pivotal, the casualty rate was one of the worst of the war. So bad, it was referred to as a "meat grinder" even at the time it was happening. Stories would travel among the ranks and being assigned to serve under Hayreb quickly became associated with a death sentence.
Employment
Appointed by Desren Hergeld and ratified by the Galactic Senate, Hayreb was elevated from Field Marshall to Supreme Commander of Republic Forces when the New Galactic Republic was being established in 3198.
