In the aftermath of Jayllin's Terror, none of the powers of Kalin found itself in more chaos than the Strakan Empire with the death of Tarkus and almost every notable Khedive . After a series of strange happenings involving The Firestarters, former secret-rebel against Strakan, Khedive of Kor-Ra Faisal Naji, found himself at the political helm of Straka. Soon after the events of Jayllin's Terror and her conviction, Faisal took the throne and crowned himself Negus of the Strakan Empire.   Tarkus' former left-hand, Kukbo, came back into the picture around the same time, and soon led open dissent against Faisal due to his former rebellious nature (despite the fact it was Kukbo who ordered his release). The open dissent soon turned into its own rebellion, with a few remaining Khedives, or the heirs of dead Khedives, flocking to Kukbo's banner.   Soon after, the Strakan Civil War began in earnest, and continues to this day.
