Tarkus
Dragon Alwasi and Eldest Elder
Tarkus was one of the most legendary and well known figures in Kalin, being the once-immortal ruling Blue Kobold/Dragon of the Strakan Empire and one of two last surviving members of The Wayfarers (the other being Galan Dalari of Embrel).
He was assassinated in 1009 3A by Jayllin Tano during Jayllin's Terror, his death was widely mourned across the continent, and resulted in a series events that led to the Strakan Civil War.

Personal history
Tarkus was born an unassuming Kobold in the sewers of Straka. He left after a raid by the city guard and Blades of Hakir targeted him and his people. He left to act as a mercenary and fell in with the other Wayfarers.
His tenure was not as long with the Wayfarers as the other core members of the group, but his impact is hard to ignore. Through means unknown, he returned to Straka with the Wayfarers and found a way to transform himself into a massive blue dragon, apparently a part of his heritage. Overnight, using his power, he convinced the then Negus of Straka to pull back on the racist policies towards Kobolds (which were seen as not-sentient creatures). This involved some damage to the Negus' palace but the impact was noticed.
He spent much of The Year of the Dragon in Straka, working with the Negus towards creating a Kobold inclusive society, as well as defending him from several assassination attempts. In the end, when Straka marched to war Tarkus joined his friends in the Wayfarers again. He played important roles both in their battle with Aenophentari, and a large role in the Dragonborn Civil War, where his ability to turn into a dragon turned the war decisively in favor of the non-Whitescales.
After the Year of the Dragon Tark settled in with his several high titles and left the Wayfarers. He became the leading voice in Kobold integration across the continent, with rapid success with the Bronze Kobolds of Tharrisia and the Blacks of Aurelia.
During The Return Tarkus was one of many trapped below in the Schola Magus during its fall, which led to him meeting the Blessed Dead. When they returned above ground, it was Tarkus' influence that garnered the Blessed Dead The Hopeful Return from the then Nation of Atresa as a vessel and base of operations. He helped guide the Blessed Dead and helped Straka survive the Return to the best of his abilities.
After the Return was defeated, Tarkus helped rebuild and guide Straka along with Negus Razeena Fa'Ajasa into a golden age.
Several centuries after Razeena's passing, and several more Negus', Tarkus would take control of Straka from an ineffective Fa'Ajasa and became the head of the state now known as the Strakan Empire.
Tarkus continued to rule the Strakan Empire for centuries. Eventually however, he was assassianted by Jayllin Tano in 1009 3A during the series of events known as "Jayllin's Terror." His assassination, along with the deaths of most of the leading Khedives, led to a spiral of events that directly led to the Strakan Civil War.
