Jayllin's Terror

Disaster / Destruction

1009 3A

"Jayllin's crimes are beyond any normal reckoning of horror, and those that have suffered for her crimes are beyond count. But, The Firestarters themselves issued a mercy to an enemy who does not deserve such, and challenged us to do better as a continent and people" - Xune's remarks during Jayllin's sentencing.

Jayllin's Terror is the popular name for the series of catastrophies and events that took place in 1009 3A surrounding the fallen hero Jayllin Tano and her defeat at the hands of The Firestarters.   Not known until 1009 3A was that Jayllin Tano, the former Wayfarer, had been masterminding a continent-wide conspiracy with the end goal of trying to "end magic and the gods", but what most likely would've meant a genocidal-level catastrophe that killed millions; at best.   During 1009 3A, Jayllin's Terror included:

She was only stopped by The Firestarters after they began to pursue her and her shadowy web of conspiracies. Surprisingly, she survived the encounter and was put on trial, where the judge, Xune, sentenced her to life in prison (which as a "True Elf", may very well be forever). She currently resides in a prison constructed by the Schola Custodi and the Ordicus Technomantis, whose location and details are a secret to all but a few.   The aftermath of Jayllin's Terror was continent wide and far reaching. While some of it was good, such as the Firestarters avoiding a war and generally leading a push for transparency; much of it was tragic, such as dealing with the aftermath of the Fall of Embrel and the Strakan Civil War.
