Reportedly brought on by a conversation between Senator Rhokul Lazulin of The Firestarters and Maximilian Vran, the Establishment of the Union Department of Void Exploration was mostly met with confusion at first, and curiosity second.   In announcing the new department, Union President Vran also announced that the department's remit will be the exploration of the void beyond the world, with the primary goal to explore and establish a presence on the worlds moon, Lumena.   Many in the public and media declared such a thing impossible, and more than a few priests declared that it was outright impossible. Despite this, many a Technomancer and mage have expressed great interest in the subject, and the Department was flooded with job applications by the end of the week it was announced. Only time will tell with the departments success.
