Harmony Heights

Harmony Heights is a Nexus District located in the North-Western portion of the Hours Jurisdiction. It is primarily defined by the EW Arterial Road at its southern border, and the NS Arterial Road at its Eastern border. As the only hours district not separated by an express rail, Harmony Heights is the largest of the hours districts.   Like all Hours Districts, Harmony Heights shows a varied mixture of the four primary architectual styles that make up Nexus, although the Americana Moderna and Steampunk Victorian have an increased presence.   Harmony Heights is primarily residential zoning, but contains a fair amount of small commercial and mixed use zoning throughout to allow residents easy access to natural spaces and community marketplaces.

Guilds and Factions

Community Gardener's Guild

Open to anyone living within the Heights, the Community Gardener's Guild maintains a series of semi-public gardens throughout the district. The guild ensures beds do not get neglected, and that excess produce is shared fairly throughout the communities.

Urban Foragers Collective

Occasionally at odds with the Gardeners, the Urban Forgaers work to ensure that natural spaces within the Heights (and throughout Nexus, when they are capable of branching out) retain areas suitable for sustainably foraging native plants. They offer educational services to anyone inerested in identifying local flora.

The Height's Wellness Circle

The Wellness Circle organizes events and activities centered around the mental, physical, and emotional health of the residents of Harmony Heights. From organizing Yoga sessions in the part, to operating pop-up therapy centers, the Wellness Circle is very engaged within the community.

Points of interest

Tranquil Grove Park

A serene park maintained by the Foragers Collective, featuring beautiful flower beds, shaded areas, and walking paths. Residents often gather here for picnics and outdoor events.

Harmony Hub and Flea Market

Here, local farmers showcase their fresh produce, and residents can browse through an array of handmade crafts, vintage items, and unique trinkets. It's not just a marketplace; it's a community gathering where people connect, share stories, and support each other.

The Maker's Space

This communal workshop provides access to a diverse range of tools and equipment, from sewing machines and power tools to crafting supplies. Creators from the community can bring their ideas to life without the need to invest in expensive tools or dedicate space in their homes. The Maker's Space fosters collaboration, innovation, and the joy of bringing unique creations into the world.

Tourism

The little tourism received by the Heights is often geard toward the Hub and the Flea Markets. Otherwise, this primarily residential area doesn't see much by way of tourists; leading it to be a highly desired place to live for those seeking a private and quiet life.
