Divine Origins

revealed to the first great prophet and grand priest

Tenets of Faith

the existing deities are all designed for the English speaking world but all deities would have aspects for other cultures and languages with more culturally appropriate names and clothing while keeping with each deities morals (ex. lustra depicted in explicit versions of local clothing even in repressive cultures). the deities will keep their same names across most of the area of the same language, but local depictions might vary more widely with racial or clothing differences reflecting the local populations

none of these gods have any specific race, and it would be acceptable to depict them as any of the races, aslong as its not for racist reasons or done in a racist way

in home statues should reflect the race of the occupants. similarly the community statues should reflect the occupants of the community while avoiding any problematic connotations by depicting the demons always in the same race as their respective gods

countless gods exist, and they may reveal themselves to anyone. so if some lady claims to have been contacted by the goddess of lilies she would become the prophet and first priestess of that goddess, as long as it was accepted by the high priesthood

Ethics

each god has their own tenets and rules and followers of the overall religion are unlikely to follow all of the rules of every god, this is acceptable as long as they don't go directly against any of the gods

Worship

people worship multiple deities for different things, with some deities that are worshipped by nearly everyone but have almost no devoted followers, and other deities that are only worshipped at a community level

deities respond to offerings made to gods of other pantheons depending on context and the request of the listener. for example when the Greeks prayed to Aphrodite it was commonly Amarosa - Goddess of Love who responded to them, while sometimes also Lustra - Goddess of Lust and Sexual Pleasure, depending on what the worshipper was asking for.

Priesthood

each deity has their own priesthood and there is a high priesthood for them all. the high priesthood is made up of the leaders (the high priest) of each individual priesthood, with a grand priest who leads the high priesthood

Sects

there would be sects who worship some or all of the demons openly, and sects who follow incorrect teachings for each deity. these would be seen as sinful to the original priesthoods and the high priesthood, especially the sects worshipping demons.
