Gathering Month

Images generated by grok

a series of days to celebrate families where extended family gather for a feast and a day of recreational activity, with each day used to gather different family members, including visitations with all of the inlaws of each generation, spanning an entire month of meals and activities, with the younger generations visiting their inlaws closer to the end of the festivities, and the main families of the eldest generation gathering on the first day of the festivities, followed closely by visits to inlaws and their families

Execution

on the first day of the month the siblings of oldest house leader come to visit with their families, they have a day of recreational activities and a large meal at the end. the following days of the month similar gatherings are planned first for the inlaws of the house leader (siblings of his/her spouse), then the inlaws of each of the children, and each of their children and so on untill all visits have been completed. the planning and dates of each visit would be done ahead of time and scheduled around the other families gatherings

this exists in the context of a society that follows the family structure of the God of Family where multiple generations live under the same roof untill the death of the eldest parents. imagine for an example 5 generations of people living in the same house for this gathering, with the eldest likely being very old and the youngest being very young.

if there is a set of inlaws that comes from a different family background like being from a traditional nuclear family you would invite all the extended family of them just like if they lived together, so for example if the wife of the main house leader came from a nuclear family and had siblings who kept following that family style, you would invite her siblings like normal, but also invite her siblings children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and so on untill theyve all been invited like any other family branch. this would also work up in regards to inviting the parents and grandparents of younger inlaws
