When the country of Issril split off into their own sects of land, to avoid potential conflict.

The Dwarves, long since tired of dealing with the threat of wars, first proposed the idea to split the country, and after a meeting with the leaders of other countries, they collectively agreed to keep to their own land. This would not last, but for nearly 1000 years, there was no major interaction between the races.
