Chisisi, Southtip's Chief Priest of Persephone
Chief Priest
Born in Southtip Village on the first day of the first harvest in their first year, Chisisi had been slated to become a priest of Persephone for his entire life. He was a fourth child, making his designation as Persephone's chief priest in the region, something he earned a year ago at the age of fifteen, even more symbolic while also being a relief to his less affluent family.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Chisisi is thin and wiry, but sturdy. He is skilled with his hands, and does a lot of paperwork in his job, but also has a surprising amount of stamina that is derived from him working in the fields.
Identifying Characteristics
Chisisi wears a mantle on his shoulders that has fields of wheat woven onto it at all times while not in his private chambers as his mark of station.

Personal history
When he first became a page of the temple, at age five, he felt pressured by the expectations placed on him; but he has grown into the expectations in almost every conceivable way. By the time he officially took the title of Chief Priest he was already filling more roles in the temple than a normal chief priest would be expected to fulfill; even travelling far into the fields to bless them to produce more bountiful harvests. Most of the other priests are too afraid of monsters to travel too far from the town.
Education
Chisisi was educated by the older priests of Persephone who moved into Southtip Village when it was established, with input from the Zarakis Matriarch whenever she visited the village. He is capable of reading the weather to know when to plant and when not to in order to save on seed, and has helped improve the crop rotation practices of the village.
Employment
Moving from the rank of Page to Apprentice at the age of seven, Chisisi learned his basic lessons in history in religion, as well as arithmetic, very quickly. As an apprentice, he was able to perform true blessings, with magic behind them, only months after taking his oaths to Persephone.
The temple elders gave him the full rank of Priest on his tenth birthday, and his dedication to helping the fields of Southtip flourish moved them to abdicate their position and make him the first Chief Priest of the Temple when he turned fifteen.

Chisisi considers his calling as Priest of Persephone to be a divine purpose that informs almost every decision he makes. He tries to be helpful to everyone, going out of his way to not only bless the grounds of the fields but also to till the soil alongside the farmers.

Chisisi is friends with everyone in the village, but his relationship with his family has become stressed since he joined the temple. They felt that him being raised by the temple would help them have a fewer mouth to feed, but are apparently resentful at not being able to see their son very often.
He has a crush on a girl in the village, the aspiring huntress Iphigenia, though he hasn't told her his feelings yet.
