Pink River Forest
The Pink River Forest is a region (and river simply known as the Pink River) of mixed trees, including maple, pine, and the occasional oak. The forest and river gain their name from the curious pink crystal clusters found all around the region. The crystals are said to contain radiant magic that can be harvested and used to empower all kinds of items and spells. Several clans, especially Catfolk, have settled here throughout history and continue to thrive there to this day. There are also clans of humans, Minotaurs, and Aaracokra in lesser numbers. While the forest has no cities, it hosts several villages, trade posts, and lone landmarks. There are also many ancient ruins, caught in the overgrowth of the wilderness. It has been considered a major hub of trade, which Daeruin was eager to claim.
