Taateya'a

Originally called "Tā'ate'eta'a", translating to "Low land city" and meaning "City on the land below" Tā'a meaning Low, Te'e meaning land, Ta'a meaning city. (Ta'a is related to í'a")   It was founded by the Old Afespíans, it was the first successful coastal city, it was small for much of its early age, but large enough to avoid the raiding parties of Pume. However, Pume lords grew wanting of the wealth of the city, so conquered it. They used it as the farthest western trade port of their culture, and still to this day the people of Taateya'a have a thick accent similar to certain Afespí groups on islands in the Archipelago.   It has remained an important trade city in the Gulf of Thvethyr.
