Alliance of Men and Elves

The Alliance of Men and Elves was founded by the king of the Tőyōtkan Empire, Dda'aríss, after he conquered the Tunga to the north of his kingdom.

After the campaign, he sees that the world of the north was cold and had nowhere to grow anything, so he demanded that the Elves of the south grant his kingdom with magic to keep the lands up north warm enough to grow things. The elves, out of fear, granted the king with a spell that would allow for specific houses to be given consistent warmth.

Dda'aríss used the spell to make Warm-houses, which allowed the Tunga to begin farming. The huge territory there was up north allowed for a great deal of food to be grown, so Dda'aríss granted the Elves with food from the north. Seeing the benevolence of the king, the Elves continued to work with him in hopes of getting more food. From this came a close alliance between the Men and Elves which would continue all the way until the fall the Tőyōtkan Empire, and well past the Invasion of the Rot.
