Alanthra

Sister island to Blackpeak Isle, the island of Alanthra is a modest island which has and until recently been home to an isolated fishing community. The village, nestled between stretches of golden sand and dense jungle, was for generations a peaceful place where people harvested the bounty of the sea and worshipped the Divine Winds that guided their fishing boats and sent them fair weather. Thorrfinn, a member of the famous Weaverider Pirates was born here before getting caught in a storm and finding himself in the shores of the Empire.

Recently, the crew of the Weaverider found the village on their way to Blackpeak Isle, where they discovered it had been taken over by the pirates who resided in Blackpeak, and most of their catch was being sent there to feed the miners and pirates. Thorrfinn led the attack on the pirates, and after a brief battle the island was put under the control of the Oceansreach Council, where they now are. The village is slowly recovering from the brutal rule of the pirates, under the protection of Oceansreach. They mainly keep to themselves, and every now and then exchange fish for medicine and other goods with the people of Blackpeak Isle.

It is also said by some, that Thorrfinn walked into the ocean, and communed with the Divine Winds, and the spirit that watches over Alanthra.
