Miss Lydia Streamhart (a.k.a. The Soul Stone Keeper)
Physical Description
Lydia was tall and healthy, however she has lost weight lately and it is starting to affect her. She has slim shoulders and long legs, also strong arms and quick feet. Aside of this she is graceful and flexible, she moves quickly in battle and has an overall good physical state.
Lydia is easy to recognize between Tamers, and thanks to her features Soul Tamers and some others can recognize her as a Streamhart. Specially due to her Bonding Mark and sharp, bright pink eyes.
Lydia has lithe build and is tall for her age, with long legs, soft hands, black painted nails, and thin shoulders. She is slim and has pale skin, with a fox tattoo on the back of her right hand. She has long, wavy and white hair with black tips, braids and a lock on her face, it has been noted by Nyx that her hair pattern assimilates an artic fox's pelt (thanks to it being her Bonding Mark).
Finally, she is considered to be quite pretty in Tamer standards, specially for Shifting and Soul Tamers, and it's said that she would have suitors all over if she wasn't as imposing.
Lydia has an oval-shaped face with a slightly sharp chin, she has a small and straight nose with a raised base, and slightly tanned cheeks. Her features are mostly sharp and she has thin eyebrows and lips alongside long eyelashes, she usually narrows her eyes and when talking about something or to someone she dislikes she will close them.
Her neutral expression is something between skepticism and seriousness, she has pointy ears and wears two black pendants. Her face is well proportioned and when she opens her mouth her canines are slightly pointier thanks to her Familiar. Her hair is long and wavy, while still being light. She almost always uses the same hairstyle but has a bit of difficulty arranging it thanks to its length and texure.
Her most impressive feature is her hair, which is her Bonding Mark, this is due to Tamers not having white as a natural hair color, and the black tips makes it look even more distinctive. She is also known for keeping the same expression in any situation, with the only difference being that her eyes seem to glow brighter whenever she is angry.
Lydia makes her movements precisely and gracefully, she is light on her feet and overall silent. She always tries to keep a proper posture and will respect personal space at any cost. However when she is distressed or really pressured she runs her fingers through her hair and grabs it tightly, trying to calm down, she only does this when she is alone or in presence of Rune. When she was little she would bite her nails, but she decided it was a bad and to visible habit, so she painted them black to prevent doing so.
Lydia is a skillful Tamer, knowing many if not most types of Soul Magic uses. She specializes in Invocation and can easily redirect magic, even powerful spells like Lena's. She can practice subjugation but doesn't really like it, so she tries to avoid it as much as she can. She has a slightly stronger sense of smell and hearing thanks to Rune and is known for casting spells using all types of positions and magic sources.
She has vast knowledge in magic in general so she knows which spell would be more useful in every moment and tries to control her magic potential for saving it for future times. Finally, Lydia is learning how to complement her magic with other Tamers' one and merging with Rune in order to reach her full magic potential.
Lydia wears a sapphire blue robe with silver details in the neck and a ultramarine blue blur in the sleeves and lower part of it. Under it she wears brown, almost black, pants that are similar to leggings. She wears black Mary Janes and a choker of the same color, alongside some black crystal pendants. Lastly she uses magenta hair leagues for her braids.
When she is in Boarding School she carries an aquamarine bag where she can keep all her books and papers. And when she is in a formal event she will wear magenta and/or black dresses most of times, and silver jewelry.
Lydia has a piece of Soul Stone that she used to hang from her necklace, but since her mother disappearance she decided to carry it on a more discreet way. She hides it on her belt under her robe and only uses it when she is home.
When she goes out in a quest or some field investigation she wears several leather pouches on where she stores different types of items that can go from potions to maps or food, mainly depending on what the mission is.

Lydia is a cisgender female who goes by the pronouns she/her.
Lydia was compromised to Lawrence Krait, but after she discovered she didn't and wouldn't harbor any romantic feelings towards him she broke the engagement. However she didn't pay attention to her sexual orientation till years later.
Lydia was taught on Raydam and the old tongues since she was old enough to speak, alongside being taught a rather impressive amount of knowledge on Tamer history and Soul Magic itself. Another vital aspect in her early life learning were both the stories of the Fallen Witches and the history of her family, specially Ilkira's one.
After performing her Bonding Ceremony she obtained her Magical Division and Familiar at the same time. This was proof of her potential and she wasn't going to waste it, she practiced and learnt all she could about Soul Magic in the Boarding School she attended. In a short time she had managed to master almost all forms of her powers and had a strong relationship with her Familiar, Rune, the artic fox.
She also learnt the spells needed to strengthen the Soul Stone's magic since a young age and has been practicing ever since, while trying to master the bases in all other types of magic. This, alongside her control over her emotions, makes her one if not the most promising Tamer in a Boarding School at the time, granting her any mentor she chooses as soon as she finishes her years at school.
Lydia's position as a Stone Keeper was entrusted to her as soon after she obtained her familiar, which was when she became 7 years old. Since then she has been one of the most relevant figures in Myridiam, mostly due to her family name and power. And over the years she has proven herself as a responsible and strong Tamer who is worthy of her heritage and power.
She has also kept her status as the most promising Tamer in the Boarding School through all her years there, and many Tamers think she will be the next Speaker of Sielu and maybe even Lead Speaker.

Lydia has always been haunted by her status as one of the most powerful families in Myridiam and heir to the Soul Stone Keeper position, however when she was younger her mother made sure she didn't felt the complete weight of it, allowing her to be a kid and grow at her own speed. Unfortunately when the Rifting Skirmish happened her mother vanished, leaving an unstable and scared kid to take all the responsibility alone.
Thanks to this Lydia decided to become what her mother couldn't, someone worthy of her name. She did all what she could to be ready to take her Familiar and position in the family and society. Sacrificing many things that were dear to her but caused a lot of pain anyway. That left a bigger mark on her than what she would like to admit, specially since her power is related to emotion-control and barely anything gets through her pokerface, making things easier for her to deal with.
Lydia is an extremely intelligent Tamer who dedicates most of her time to study magic and it's effects while also having a vast knowledge in astrology and languages that she uses as much as she can. She has a privileged memory and has been described as careful and observant, "never missing something."
Known for being calculative, she never takes decisions on a rush and is prepared for the possible consequences of it, having a back up plan in almost any case. While being highly pragmatical and responsible she won't give in and will defend her point of view with all she has, not getting feelings involved at any rate.
Thanks to her cool temper she turns out as intimidating and to many even cold, judging many actions and Tamers solely by their results and not their motivation. Lydia was brought up in a place where your responsibilities and actions define who you are, and she will make sure to remind others of their own.
Lydia always knew what she was supposed to be, and all her actions are directed towards that single goal. She has done everything in her power to get to be what others needed, and is always focused on the bigger picture, not letting trivial things get on her way. This makes her an exceedingly selfless person who will compromise her mental and physical health in order to get done what she thinks is her duty.
She has strong beliefs and won't let anything change her mind, since in her opinion great things require sacrifices. She is a firm believer of responsibility and duty, while also thinking that hard-work and dedication are some of the most important things in the world. Lydia values honesty and finds people who are able to deal with prejudices fascinating, she also admires resilience and open-minded people.
Lydia tries to be open-minded in general, but thanks to her environment and bringing up she can struggle a bit, this becomes clear when traditions are brough up. She believes they should be more appreciated and is disappointed on how much Tamers have forgotten about history and art.
Alongside this she considers those who are irresponsible or don't assume the consequences of their actions some of the worst types of beings. Lydia's main motivation are expectations. She knows how much others look up to her and what they need her to do, feeling that it's her duty to reach those. And thanks to having a fixation with responsibility she will take it to heart, doing everything in her power to achieve those goals.
However Lydia is selfless and aspires to help Tamers all around Myridiam, wanting to finish the problems that cause everyone pain. She also thinks that it is important for more powerful Tamers to help those who aren't in a position to help themselves, and lastly she will do whatever it takes to protect those who she cares about or thinks that are worth it.
Savvies: Lydia enjoys arts and is a great dancer knowing different styles for the many tunes in Myridiam. She knows about legends and history and has read many books about astrology and botany. She is quite good at remembering school lessons and has facility for literature and mathematics. Finally she is a strategist and knows how to make her presence known and how to set up a show.
Ineptitudes: Lydia isn't good at interacting with people who she wants to have a personal bond with, this comes from her not sending clear signals about her true feelings and at trying to keep her problems to herself. She doesn't have patience with liars and will sometimes use threats if she thinks the situations merits it. Lydia is smart, powerful, confident and dedicated person who tries to be her best self just to help others. She is selfless and won't doubt before standing up to defend those in need, being capable of going far if she considers it necessary. Cold-headed and willing to see where mistakes were made she is quick to search for a resolution and doesn't let her status get in the way like other Tamer's might. Finally she has a constant fear of disappointing others or not being enough, not knowing how she is valuable outside of her accomplishments and contributions. Thanks to dealing with many situations and trying to relax she has the habit of smoking in her room when no one sees her.
Lydia tries to stay under control all the times, but when she is alone or relaxed she likes to listen to music from Soil Tamers, and to dance to it, forgetting her problems for a few seconds.
Lydia takes great care of her hygiene wanting to keep up a good image, she loves soft perfumes and lavender. However if she smoked she sometimes gets nervous and uses a bit too much of it to hide the smell. She also likes to have her nails constantly on black polish and her hair out of her face.
Social
The Streamharts have access to any social group as one of the most relevant families in Myridiam, they were in contact with other power positioned families and knew the Speakers. They had a lot of contacts on trading routes and merchants in general, they also had good connections in Anam City and now due to Zackary's job they are known in almost all of Roham City.
As far as affiliations go they always worked for the Speaker of Sielu, but since the Rifting Skirmish things have been complicated and it has been up to Lydia to deal with all the political aspects and agreements.
Lydia and her family have a heavily strained relationship. Since she was a kid things were always complicated between her parents who had an arranged marriage and didn't understood each other at all, however Lydia was mainly taken care of by her mother, and even if her father treated her poorly she wasn't in a precarious situation.
Then her mother left, and her life seemed to fall apart, she was taken care of by her father who never missed a chance to remind her how she was unimportant and a failure to everything Soul Tamers represented. Thanks to this Lydia assumed her role and as soon as she received her Familiar she took her place as both Stone Keeper and head of family.
This made her father resent her more and their relationship worsened as years passed, with him constantly remembering her what her mother did and how they were similar, alongside telling her about how his money was the only thing maintaining the family. When she didn't react to this he responded by calling her unsensitive or even unfeeling.
However Lydia's greatest problem in her family comes with Kya, her cousin, he was born to Lydia's aunt on her mother side and his father was an unknown Storm Tamer. This alone wasn't a good thing, but when he had his Bonding Ceremony and was linked to Storm Magic his mother practically disowned him.
Lydia tried to do her best to help him as she didn't want him to go through the same thing she did, unfortunately thanks to Kya's mother dislike for Lydia and jealousy Kya saw her as nothing but what he was supposed to be and wasn't. Leading to a very complicated relationship between both of them. And causing Lydia great concern since she considers Kya the only person in her family she is close with.
Lydia believes in the Fallen Witches and spends a lot of time reading and investigating about them. She knows many legends and thinks that there is more to the story than what is being told. She considers them a fundamental part of Tamer's culture and will do anything to defend them in front of others.
Finally she thinks that Sielu was as important as Selene and Siskli, and she believes that all of them should be remembered, considering that all the "one of them is better" complete non-sense.
Lydia is a reserved Tamer who will keep most of her relationships in a professional or formal level. She has an excellent etiquette and manners, knowing how to behave from a fancy dinner to a business meeting. She is proud and knows her virtues and flaws, but she doesn't have a big ego nor is she easy to offend. She oozes self-confidence and gives the impression of knowing exactly what she is doing at almost any moment. Lastly, Lydia is a good listener and if she is more relaxed she might even be a bit more charismatic.
Lydia always speaks in a formal manner, even inside her house or with friends, the only difference being her tone. She gesticulates in graceful ways while talking and she has a different accent that is known for high-class Tamers, specially in Soul and Shadow Tamer culture. She almost always has a neutral expression and keeps her eyes narrowed in situations that aren't familiar.

Lydia's Familiar is an artic fox named Rune, who she considers her confident and close friend. They have complete trust in each other and a strong bond since she was young, they love to do things together and Rune is oftenly worried about Lydia. They have a great understanding of the other and had shared many moments. Rune is stubborn, smart and loyal to death, he sometimes does things to help Lydia that even if she doesn't understand at first usually come in handy later.
Hobbies:
Lydia's main hobby is magic practicing, training almost everyday and working to understand the correct way of how to use it. Outside of this she loves to dance and read but doesn't have much time to spend on it, since most of her free time she is either training, studying or working on spells for the Soul Stone.
Lydia has a calm yet melancholic voice, described as a "whisper waiting to be freed", but when she gets angry Rhea described her tone as a charm with poison dripping from every word. She also has an accent that is particular to her social group and that consists on doing a heavier pronunciation on some consonants while making the vowels longer and lowering her voice at the end of the word.
History
Anari was Lydia´s mother and only support figure inside of her house. She idolized her since she was a kid and was completely dependent on her, even if this ended in manipulation several ocassions. Lydia always thought her mother loved her inconditionally and was amazed that she granted her some grade of freedom, as she always seemed so reasonable, composed, confident and smart.
She was all Lydia ever wanted to be, everything she loved. That´s why she was shattered when she never saw her again, she was ledt behind to her father´s care. With the only reminder being a soul crystal left at her bed and a consequence that would haunt her for the rest of her life.
She still dreams of finding her.

Lydia was totally dependent on Anari thanks to being issolated most of her childhood and considered her a role model in every sense. Then she decided that she didn´t want anything to do with her and tried to become the complete opposite of her, she hates the fact that she still thinks about her quite often.
As for Anari she loved Lydia dearly but was sometimes overwhelmed by the responsibilities it brought to her. And would sometimes feel as if she was failing misserably, specially thanks to her relationship with Zackary and the ocassional manipulation. She also has a hard time with the expectatives the kid had placed onto her.

History
They met when Nyx was having a panic attack while being sorted into a Boarding School, Lydia managed to help her calm down and they talked a bit. But it was ambiguous, and while it was interesting Nyx couldn't help but to feel terrified by her presence.
Days later, during a battle training Nyx learnt her name and saw her battle Lena, her new friend, who wasn't pleased to see Lydia at all. After that they became roommates, and while they didn't sleep together thanks to Lydia being at her home they had to spend more time together.
Like that they slowly started to know the other one better, but it wasn't until Nyx saw Lydia struggle with Kya that she started to feel awe about her. Then they grew into a comfortable state but this changed abruptly when Nyx found out about her and Lena.
Lydia tried avoiding her at first, but thanks to the events at her ball they finally opened up to the other one and now they aren't quite sure of what their relationship is or where it is taking them.

History
Since the first time they met the knew they weren't compatible, however the real problem started when Rhea discovered she was Nyx's roommate, and when Rhea started to hang with Kya Lydia began to keep an eye on her.
This worsened every day that passed in the Boarding School, where it passed from something external to a personal dislike and problem. And as the relationships blossomed so did their problems.

Magic is diminishing and so are their resources. after Anari Streamhart disappeared with a share of the money things have gone worse. And now the only income keeping the family afloat comes from Zackary Streamhart's job.
