The Hunter Tides

The news was showing a familer story.   Another researcher who thought he could safely come out of the Hunter Tides, admitted to the psychic hospital. The researcher was rambling about a monster in a forest, his scars told a scary story. The man would not have his word trusted ever again.   Then one day the Hunter Tides were on the news again but this time was different.

  The name of The Hunter Tides was chosen after a third ship had gone into the of the heavy mist in the north of the world and its crew came out shaken. All had stories of strange creatures, noises that made no sense or just sitting in fog for hours not seeing anything.   Over the years the world governments put out warnings baning civilians from getting close. To ensure compliance military ships formed a barrier, allowing only research vessels through.   Non of the researchers were successful in cracking the mystery of the unmoveable fog, many went mad after attempting to get through safely.  

Discovery of the truth

In the year 57 the world watched in shock as a group of researchers announced that they had successfully made their way through the fog and discovered a new civilization living on a island.   In a interview the researchers reveled some details :   When the researchers arrived on the island several people awaited them. At first look the inhabitants seemed normal if a bit tall, then the ressearchers met their their eyes which had 2-5 equally spaced colors around a white pupil with a double golden ring.   The civilization called themself Zisharant. Despite never having any contact with the outside world some of them could speak the comman language, but only while moving their hands in what seemed like a rehearsed dance.   The researchers had been led through the town to a marvellous tall building where some older Zishanants waited in a grand hall. They introduced themself as the Elders council, and explained that the reason they chose to allow acsses after centuries is that one of their youngsters had a vision that they needed to open up to stop the end of the world.   They gave the researchers a document that only when signed by all governments agreeing to respect the attonomy of the island would they fully remove the fog barrier and join the world.

The governments signed the documents and the Hunter Tides disappeared reviling the lavish green island known as Kizauco island with all its magnificent creatures.   Will the governments truly keep their world is yet to be known but one thing is for sure the mystery of the Hunter Tides has brought enough theories to leave the science community scratching their heads for a long time.
