Zisharant

The locals of Kizauco island which is located in the The Hunter Tides. For centuries they were hidden from the rest of the world by a magic barrier until it was opened.   The Zisharant have magic flowing through their blood, it is influenced by the god that was strongest on the day of their birth.  

Appearance

The Zisharin are quite tall standing at 180-197 cm for Rasiot and 187-215 for Zuese.   Their eyes are 3-5 equally spaced colors around a white pupil with a double golden ring. The colours are influenced by their magic. As Vugtris, giver of Life & Death is always strong all Zisharant have light green as one of their eye colors.   The common hair colours are natural red, golden blonde and jet black.  

A journey through life:

The Zisharant's younglings who are called Zisics are born when Vugtris, giver of Life & Death sends down Vugino which is inclosed in a icosahedron until the Zisic is fully formed and ready to emerge, which takes 50-65 days. During that time the parents enter their own blood into the icosahedron to nourish the vugino.   When the Zisic hatches a mark is placed on their palms which does not allow them use of their magic. It takes 19 years for a Zisic to reach mental and physical maturity, at which point the mark is removed and they learn to actually use their magic.   The Zisharant do not have any set template for what family life looks like.   Zisharant have a lifespan of 112 years with the longest recorded being a Rasiot at 147 years.  

Social Structure

The Zisharant have a social structure that is based on knowledge &strength of magic.   Above all sit the gods led by Vugtris, giver of Life & Death. The gods do not interfere with the life on land beoned granting the magic.   On Kizauco island the most important are the elders who are the bearers of knowledge. Next come the Nelir who have the strongest magic, they are the protectors of the island. The Qeteus and Ealdin are next they are the builders and educators respectively. Next are the Thiltar, they take care of the people's day to day needs.
