The Lord of Wildfires Adeaba
The lord of wildfires, the conflagration that destroys and unmakes and makes empty, the unalterable destruction, the fiery end, who takes the form of a massive fox-like creature with stone-black fangs and endless flickering tails which shift from fire to flesh and back; he is attended by a court of foxes, who he sends out into the world to make homes for him in all unattended fires.

A very large fox-like creature, with a vast array of tails that flicker from fur to fire and back. His fur is golden-orange-red, and seems to glow from within. His teeth, mouth, and eyes are blackened.

Personal history
The first time in a long time that a wildfire swept over the mountains, a fox ran from it. Faster and faster, it ran, the heat of the flames scorching it, until the fox was running as fast as the fire. Until the fire stopped chasing the fox's footprints and started lighting in the fox's footprints. That is the story, at least.

Adeaba is the power you hear in the furious howl of a wildfire, in the crack of lightning which splits the mountain in two. Vicious and overwhelming. There are a lot of wildfires in the mountains.
