Metaphysical / Paranormal eventThe new resulting orb is an abomination that the gods could not tolerate. The thought that such perfect beings could produce such a thing could not stand. Bhaal the God of Death was the first to strike out in anger. The God struck a devastating blow that ruptured the orb and scattered it throughout the void creating The Beyond. Bhaal's Folly
Celestial / CosmicBhaal's actions did not destroy the abomination but spread it through the infinite void. The rest of the gods were furious that now evidence of their imperfect nature would exist forever. The Gods banded together into a pantheon to punish Bhaal for his action. Bhaal was imprisoned within a large fraction of the original orb. He is to remain there until all pieces of the abomination are destroyed. -Church of the Blessed First Scroll.

There they mixed and blended together taking ever more complex forms. The pantheon watches and enjoys watching their creations defy the odds and succeed, for that is proof of their own greatness.

Life, DeathWhen the Bane God of Tyranny had his creations march through the land killing everything they saw they eventually cornered the last of Mielikki's creations. As the creations were slaughtered and Mielikki's blessings were returned, Mielikki blessed her last follower with her full might. Bane's creations stood no chance, in one fell swoop empowered by their divinity, Mielikki killed all but two of Bane's creations as an act of mercy, encouraged by Eldath who was pained by so much death. Mielikki had created the first champion. -Church of the Blessed First Scroll.
