Astrologer's Tower
The Order of the Illuminated Spheres a society of arcanists dedicated to advancing astrology, maintains this 50-foot-tall tower on Neoma's central common, atop a small hill near a stand of trees.
The tower’s lower sections feature intricate stonework with faint engravings of animals, trees, and natural scenes. This is of elven construction and very ancient, likely dating back thousands of years, when the elves guided the Emhle people to protect the world from magical threats. The upper sections are of well-crafted human stonework that supports an internal wooden spiral staircase leading to a viewing platform. Here, the Astrologer, Master Felroth Tiler, scans the sky. Master Felroth is also responsible for sending supplies to the Royal Observatory high in the Jerinalian Mountains.
Nearby, an ancient grove of trees radiates a subtle, barely detectable mystical energy. This is a Taur-im-Aina or sacred grove. Historically, elves used these as portals to travel between similar locations. The magic of this grove remains dormant.
