Rock of Bral

The Rock of Bral is an asteroid flying through Wildspace, the Rock of Bral is a haven for many spacers and a dangerous battleground for others. It was originally a haven for pirates before Captain Bral established a settlement on the asteroid. Be careful of what friends you make here.

Government

The leader of Bral is Prince Andru. Three other government bodies on Bral could, hypothetically, overrule him. The first of which was the Council of the City which consisted of 30 people selected directly by the Prince to represent the people. Second, the Noble Council includes 37 chartered landowners that could revoke property ownership from anyone. Finally is the Council of Captains, which permits a seat to anyone that owns at least four spelljammers, and oversees tariffs and trade rules.

The Underbarons

Harkening back to Bral's pirate roots, the Underbarons are the leaders of the four most powerful organized crime families in Bral. They include:

• Ozamata- Oversees the docks and Low City.
• Meredin Sandyfoot- A halfling based in The Burrows that holds sway over the craftspeople.
• The Juggler- The codename for the secretive leader of The Jugglers. They have sway over the entertainers and many thieves.
• The Unknowable One- The codename for a mysterious information broker that lives in the tunnels of Bral. They specialize in smuggling on the Rock of Bral.

Embassies

There are several embassies in Bral, but two stand out the most. The first is the Embassy of the Illithid which houses several mind flayers supposedly seeking peaceful relations with the people of Bral. The second is the Embassy of the Elven Imperial Fleet located in the Elven Forest (or simply The Forest to Bralians).

The People

Bral is home to a plethora of races. The most common races are human, giff, hadrozee, plasmoids, autognomes, and astral elves. Other races, such as halflings and dwarves, have established their neighborhoods within the city.
