Personality

Jorrel takes after his father, Ser Larkin, in a number of ways. As far as personality, he mirror's Larkin's gentle nature and bleeding heart, though unlike his father he greatly struggles with speaking up for himself.

History

Born to Maria and Larkin Mormont in 425 AC, Jorrel is the twin brother of Kyra, and second in line to inherit Bear Island. While he only somewhat resembles his father's facial features, he has his blonde hair and his eyes. From the moment the young boy could walk he had a desire to fight from watching his father train, and for his 4th nameday he was gifted a dagger by his mother much to his father's dismay. But he had already proven himself naturally skilled with the blade from practicing with wood, and Maria argued that him being able to protect himself would be important for him growing up on bear island, and he'd be getting one next year regardless as tradition. Now he trains with the dagger every day, eager to become a Knight like his father and help the people. Some people have already taken to calling him "The Little Knight of Bear Island".
